I just turned 31 and am about 50 lbs overweight. I haven't always been overweight... only since my husband and I moved in together. So - it has been 8.5 years of being fat and I AM OVER IT! As a former high school athlete, I know what it feels like to be thin and strong and I WANT IT BACK! As you can see, I am really motivated... the problem is that if I fall off the wagon, it is a long hard trip back to motivated. So, wish me luck!
So, as of this morning, at 5'10", I weighed 215 lbs. My target weight (college) is 165. It was only 8 years ago... so it cannot be impossible! I'm shooting for a max of 3 lbs per week with a restricted diet and moderate exercise (starting this weekend).
1) Restricted carbs - No refined sugar or flour
2) No red meat - only chicken, eggs, and fish
3) Restricted dairy - still some occassional feta/blue cheese crumbles for salads - but nothing else
4) Small portions with acai berry juice and lots of water
So - here we go!!! I'll check back with updates on my weight and progress!!! Wish me luck!
