Hey STacy - that's great that your doc has recommended some yoga. I really believe that that the core strengthening that you get from yoga will really help your back, even if you end up a bit sore to begin with. Let us know how it goes!!

I've done a bit better with my eating over the past 3 days, but haven't yet started exercising again, except for a lttle stretching. I was mentally drained after last week and just stayed in all weekend (despite the 60+ degree weather).


Saturday:
Breakfast: fiber one pancakes with chocolate chips and sugar-free syrup
Lunch: chicken tenders with peanut sauce, potato
Dinner: multi-grain tortilla topped with spinach, cheese, spaghetti sauce, mushrooms
Snack: smart taste pasta with spinach and smart balance spread
Snack: handful of oatmeal squares cereal
Total calories: 1920


Sunday:
Breakfast: matzo with egg, veggie sausage, english muffin
Lunch: pork and veggie potstickers
Dinner: multi-grain tortilla with chicken, lentils, corn, tomatoes, jalapenos, sour cream
Total calories: 1450


Monday:
Breakfast: english muffin with turkey sausage and cheese
Lunch: grilled chicken wrap
Dinner: multi-grain tortilla topped with spaghetti sauce, spinach, cheese
Snack: Fiber One Toaster Pastry
Snack: slice of swiss cheese
Total calories: 1540

I never made it to the yoga class yesterday. There was a howling wind the night before that kept me up all night, so I didn't have the energy to stay late and then sit in an hour+ of traffic, so I came home instead. My food hasn't been great this week and my weight has fluctuated dramatically for no apparent reason (up and back down 3-4 pounds within a few days).


Tuesday:
Breakfast: 2 Fiber one toaster pastries
Snack: Fiber One bar
Lunch: roast beef and swiss sandwich
Snack: string cheese, plum
Dinner: pierogies and sour cream, chicken strips and peanut sauce
Total Calories: 1740


Wednesday:
Breakfast: english muffin with turkey sausage and cheese
Breakfast #2: corned beef hash, scrambled eggs
Lunch: 6 pieces of sushi
Snacks: mini roast beef sandwich, pita chips and hummus, cheese and crackers
Dinner: multi-grain tortilla topped with spinach, cheese, spaghetti sauce
Snack: fiber one toaster pastry
Total calories: 1910


Thursday:
Breakfast: english muffin with turkey sausage and cheese
Snack: oatmeal squares cereal
Lunch: pad thai noodles, spinach, spring rolls
Dinner: smart taste pasta, spaghetti sauce, turkey sausage, spinach
Snack: fiber one toaster pastry
Total calories: 1670

We had the wind here too -still doesn't look like a bad week. Hopefully you will get to the yoga class next week.
