Wow... October already. My September REALLY sucked as far as diet and exercise. Bill came out to visit Labor Day weekend and I never really got back on track after that. I ended the month with birthday celebrations so now it's time to get back in to it for the new month.


Goals for October:



  • Journal food & exercise EVERY day, no matter how bad it is
  • Exercise AT LEAST 150 min per week (that's only 30 min a day for 5 days)
  • Get ready for my 5K November 1st

Today's starting weight (even though I'm still bloated is 147 lbs). I would like to lose 5 lbs this month.

Thursday, October 1


9:30 - 12 oz coffee w/ 2 equal, 2 creamer
1 - slice of leftover birthday cake @ work
2:30 - Subway 6" turkey & cheese on wheat w/ lettuce, tomato, pickle, olive & honey mustard
7:15 - 2 svgs All Bran crackers, 2 light string cheese twists, 4 Twizzlers
8:30 - leftover cupcake kids baked for me for my birthday
9:30 - McDonald's cheeseburger, small fries, 4 pc nuggets w/ bbq sauce


Water
Thu - 40 oz


Exercise
Thu - Couch to 5K: Week 4, Day 1 (plus some stretching/Abs) 44 min, 355 cal burned

I really need to be more consistent with my weekend journaling!


Friday, October 2 - Sunday October 4


Didn't track food but here are the hi/low lights
Fri - did have a salad from a salad bar Fri @ lunch. Had 2 grey goose and cranberry @ happy hour and 2 wings and 2 potato skins. But then went home and drove to McD's and had a Big Mac Attack and small fries.


Sat - Starbucks at the kids soccer game. Latte and a "Nordy" bar shopping with a girlfriend and then a bleu cheese cheeseburger and fries for dinner. That was it for the whole day :-(


Sun - Starbucks again at the nail salon. Dairy Queen brownie sundae in the afternoon and then crockpot chicken, wild rice and peas and carrots for dinner. That was it for that whole day :-(


Water

Exercise

Hey Vanessa, those stressors can wreak havoc on our eating. But the rest of your day looked GREAT!! Here's to a great October!

Well, at least you had wine and Reece's cups in the house ;-)
And you got the workout in nice and early too..... you know that helped to burn some of those "stress induced calories"!!

What's going on with your shoulder? If it's just tight, might I suggest a massage?? (Planning on getting one myself this coming weekend!) -and bengay, that stuff ROCKS!!!
