Can you get tickets for more days (m)

...than you stay on-property? That sounds like a dumb question...especially if you purchase tix separately. But I have noticed in the planning portion of their website that adding an additional day's ticket - once you have, say, 5 days of tickets - is something like $5.00 more. Since we're going down earlier in the week and staying off-site (planning on doing Sea World, then DTD) - I wondered if we could get tix for a day earlier than we're planning on checking in. That way, we could go in and see, say, Fantasmic! or Wishes or somesuch if we run out of things to do.

I'm guessing you *could* do this if you purchased tix separately and not as part of a package...which we may end up doing if WDW's Fall promo doesn't compell us to purchase a package. Then again - we're planning on doing the dining plan, so I guess we'd have to purchase as a package...and thus probably can't do what I'm thinking....

TIA

The quick answer is YES but you wouldn't be able to get your tickets until you checked in if it's on a package so the way you are wanting to do it, the answer would be No.

For example, if you were staying 5 days but wanted the 10 day ticket, you could do that (you would probably add the no expiration date onto it though), however, you wouldn't get your tickets until you checked in - so it would be the 5 days you are staying PLUS 5 days afterwards.

I don't think you can get your tickets BEFORE you check in for your package though where you could use the 5 days first THEN check-in and use the last 5 days.

That's the way *I* understand it anyway.

There was just a discussion about this on another board. Someone referenced an article in AllEars that said you could pick up your tickets for your package 5 days early at Guest Relations and then a CM responded that they weren't supposed to do that. I'll see if I can remember where I read it at and email it to you.

If you purchase your tickets separately you can use them at any time. It's the part about when they're in a package that gets shady.
