HI, I hope I am allowed to post looking for this kind of info!

We are taking our first trip to WDW with the kids starting on April 27. We are driving (about 16hrs!) and staying in a timeshare off site in Kissimmee. Right now, I am trying to find a legitimate site to get discount park tickets. There are lots of places on the net that pop up when you google it, but I don't want to get scammed. We are going on a significant budget so any money saving tips would be greatly appreciated! We have already registered for 2 character meals.

Thanks for any help! If it isn't okay to post links here, you can email me at karen@molloyfamily.net

Kely, legitimate discounts on WDW tickets are hard to come by. (as you've noticed). There are a very few, I can only think of 2, ticketbrokers allowed to sell them. And often the savings is only pennies. If you are military go to the MWR or the Shades of Green resort when you get to Disney. If you are not military, check out mousesavers.com for information on ticket discounts. And whatever you do do NOT under any circumstances purchase tickets off eBay. There is absolutely no way to check the ammount of remaining days on a ticket unless you are actually at wdw, by which time you could be completly scammed and have to shell out more $. Not saying all eBay ticket sellers are scammers, just that there's no way to check and it's to big of an investment to risk it. Also the new Magic Your Way tickets are biometrically scanned to the first person to use them so there is NO WAY another person could use any left over days on those tickets. I hope you find what you're looking for at mousesavers, but honestly the safest bet is Disney.

I bought my tickets from a ticket broker that mousesavers recommends. The ticket prices went up Jan. 1, and I missed that, so I bought them at last year's prices. However, I did that the beginning of Jan., so I don't know if they have any of those left. It could be worth it to comparison shop (i.e. broker vs. Disney).

BTW, we are arriving at WDW on April 29th! You're the first family I've heard that's going then. We, too, are staying in my parent's timeshare offsite.

Hope y'all have a great time! I am beyond excited!
