We've never seen this show. We always leave to beat the crowds. We're sucking it up this year, though. I just wondered what your thoughts were.

Anywhere in front of the castle should be good. We watched from the bridge to Tomorrowland last year, and it was a pretty good spot; not exactly front and center though. Probably somewhere on Main Street would be best.

I love Wishes!

Our favorite is in Liberty Square. You can see Tinkerbell and you can see the fireworks, but the fireworks won't be "over" the castle..just to the side. Very uncrowded, nice place to view.

We found a nice spot just to the right of Crystal Palace (when looking at the Castle with CP behind you) - almost near Casey's Corner.

In September, we ended up right in front of the castle. It was PERFECT for viewing, but uncomfortable because there is nowhere to sit. We sat on the ground there, but eeewww...just thinking of all the people who walked there, spit there, dropped stuff there earlier in the day sort of skeezed me out.

Anyway, we've also had a "side view" from the bend on Main Street. We sat on the bench seats that form the planter. Only problem with that is you have to dodge the hanging plants and street lights and trees.

I think I've read somewhere that that little area of seating past the Ice Cream shop, but before you get to the Tomorrowland Noodle Terrace, is a nice place to view them. In fact, we stood there for a while and watched Cinderellabration from afar. There are little tables and stuff there.

Sorry, I guess I'm not much help! We are never in the same place twice! LOL

I don't know the BEST, but I can give you a heads up for a not-so-good place to view. Our first viewing of Wishes was on Main Street, across the street from Casey's and a little closer to the castle (so not directly across the street). We ended up with an obstructed view from a tree. What were we thinking?

We went back another day and watched from Main, directly in front of the castle. We stood for it this time. Better viewing, but more tiring. I'm looking forward to hearing about all of the great places to see this.

LOL Tracie! Sounds like our first viewing of Wishes! We had just come from Frontierland where we lucked into a great spot for watching Spectro. We headed back towards Main St for Wishes travelling over the bridge from Liberty Square and got sooo close to the Castle.

LOL...you're the exact people that the CM at Hall of Presidents talked about!

I think it was our 2000 trip. We went to Hall of Presidents right before the fireworks. The CM (I think his name was Carl?..older guy--retirement age) said that he knew of a great viewing spot for the fireworks and if we wanted to, we could wait for him after our show after he got the next show started (the last show of the night).

There were the ones that waited for him and the ones that went on. He called the ones that went on "The Bridge People" because "they'll get as far as the bridge and be stuck and not be able to go farther. They'll get to see Tinkerbell fly, but not a single firework!"

This was before Wishes, when the fireworks weren't so spread out. His "special" spot for us was to stand near the Liberty Bell & see Tink fly, then move toward the entrance to the riverboat ride and see the fireworks behind the castle (actually, to the side in our case). But if you stayed by the Liberty Bell THEN, you wouldn't see the fireworks. Now, with Wishes, we were able to see the fireworks from the Liberty Bell. Of course, we also got an awesome view from the parking lot, too...lol.

If you (or anyone) has a child that is the least bit sensitive to noise, do NOT by any means stand on Main Street between the buildings. The fireworks echo and it's very loud. Aly had seen the fireworks in '99 & 2000 without a problem ('99 going toward Tomorrowland--2000 in Liberty Square), but we got ice cream in 2001 (she was almost 5) and stepped right outside on Main St. I had to run her into a store because it was much too intense. Of course, you could also do earplugs..I did those the next trip.

The rose garden near the castle - we saw this spot after Wishes on our first trip to WDW and tried it out on our 2nd trip last year and it was great - DD even found a rose bush with a hidden mickey lol!
