you must be very excited - it's coming so soon! i think if i were you, i'd bring either a single umbrella for the 2yo, and plan on renting a double disney stroller each day too ($18 per day), or bring a double umbrella and rent a single, this way one of you could have 2 kids by the hands getting on and off the bus (i'd say the 2yo and one of the 4yo's), then the stroller-person could have the other 4yo by the hand and an easy, light umbrella stroller in the other hand. i've seen super lightweight umbrella strollers that have a carry strap attached to them; that might work well for you guys. if you add the cost of the rental strollers in disney, buying a new umbrella stroller for the trip and use after isn't such a bad idea. and i think the kids will get tired (then cranky) if they have to walk. the amount of steps they have to take to keep up with our adult steps is just a lot, no matter how slow you go, it's still a lot of steps for them. it's also nice to keep them contained in the strollers, and it's a nice snack spot for them, resting spot, and being out of the sun a little is nice. i really feel it keeps them happier. we just got back saturday from a 2 week disney trip, and we still rent a double for our 6yo and 4yo.
Glad to see I'm not the only "nut" in a planning frenzy! We are at 17 days and counting, lol. I bought a few things yesterday at Walmart in anticipation........... we went to the shoe section and each ds tried on every pair of shoes in their size and we bought the ones that made them tallest, lol. My older ds is 48 inches barefoot, and my youngest is 40 inches barefoot....... which are both ride minimums for most rides.... so I need to make sure they both pass with flying colors!!!!!!!! I didn't want to spend a ton of money on vacation shoes, and wally world has boys shoes for $9! That way if they get wrecked, oh well! I also got them watersocks for the waterparks and picked up the jumbo sunscreen. I won't get into total buying mode for probably another week or so, then I'll start doing the carry-on bag 'stuff' to keep them busy. My older ds (7) has a gameboy, and I'm pondering buying one for my 4 year old............ don't know if he will figure it out and I dont want to waste the $$. We have ponchos, the water fan, etc already from previous disney ventures so we're covered there. There is a lot of excitement in the house as it draws ever so slowly nearer!
I'm sorry I can't remember if you are staying on-site or not...haven't gone back through posts.
As for the towels, we just used the hotel ones.
