Disney at Christmas?

I would love to hear from anyone that has vacationed at this time.. How were the crowds? Prices at resorts? Chrisitian services?
I overheard someone at church talking about "their best family vacation ever"... it was to Disney World during the Christmas break (Christmas break from school for the kids). It is something I never considered, but maybe I should.
We would stay at a moderate resort in either 2007 or 2008, so I have plenty if time to plan.
My kids will be 7 and 4 at that time. We have been several times, but this one would be "the trip of a lifetime" in that we will stay on site at a moderate resort and stay for 7 days.
Thanks everyone! This is a great board!

The week between Christmas and New Years is the single most crowded week of the entire year, crowds are shoulder to shoulder,
Thanks again! Once again you are so helpful..
Christmas time is definitely out because of the crowds. Now, back to my origin planning for spring time...
Early December is our favorite time to go. The weather is nice, cool in the am & night, warm in the afternoon. This past year we did have to wear warmer than usual clothes, it was in the 30s one morning, but most of the time it was mid 60s.
We LOVE early December. And the shortened park hours are NOT a problem because of the shorter waits for everything. Also, Epcot actually EXTENDS their hours by 30 minutes each night...so they stay open until 9:30 every night(most of Future World still closes at 7, though).
However, last year, Pop Warner had little league football/cheer/dance championships at WWS and will again this year...guess it's going to be an annual thing. So, I'd avoid that time since a lot of families will likely be there at that time and that will add to the wait times. I think it's Dec 3-6 this year.
