drive me crazy!!! Different rental companies to chose from, different coupons & "codes" to try--different at each. Good grief. Does anyone have any simple, tried & true ideas for me? I'm thinking pick a company(literally, might put all the names in a hat at this point)that has rentals at the airport(eliminating a shuttle), see what's out there, & reserve one. Then I'll just watch THAT site & if the price goes down, re-book. Does that sound good???? Thank you for all ideas!

I know what you are talking about I priced every car rental agency a couple of times over via expedia, travelocity and then on the companies sites themselves.

Thanks Carrie. We are staying off-site, family of 4, & don't want a car that is a convertable! I'm thinking 4 door will be best. We currently own a minivan & it has been a looonnnngggg time since we owned a car--& it was an Escort at that(way back when it was only 3 of us--& ds was a baby!).

I have a discount code from the Union that dh is in, as well as some coupons from BJ's & our c/c company. I'm thinking that I'll pick a company that is right at the airport, instead of one w/ a shuttle service--which will narrow things down. Budget keeps coming to mind for that--maybe I'll just go for it??!!!!

Thanks for your understanding:)

I know its confusing all the codes and stuff however i have saved so much money by booking and seeing better deals and rebooking once istarted at $500 and then got down to 192. oh by th eway dollar has specials on mini vans all the time you can get a mini van for about 190 to 200 for a week and one thing about rental cars is you can book get a better deal cancel and rebook it is worth saving the money. littlebitt
