I think that is who sang that song........ "It's the Final Countdown......" Right?
Anyways, that is officially us today. 10 days out. I'm glancing for some ideas here and starting my 10 day out checklist by day. It's gonna be busy this next week with first communion parties for friends and other things that are on our schedule so I've gotta take the preparation in baby steps rather than wait until next Friday and run around like a chicken with my head cut off. We've revamped our schedule to do two days at MK rather than MGM, but other than that, we are still on track. I bought our tickets from mapleleaf.com, they seemed to have a good deal and there was a book I read called "mouse on the house" that recommended them. I didn't feel comfortable using other vendors that the book did not recommend. If I have any problems with our tickets arriving, I"ll post so no one else uses them and gets screwed.
Mickey hugs to those heading out in May......... HeRe We Go!

I've heard of Mapleleaf tickets.

We're here right now, so I thought I'd let you know how it is for us. First, the crowds are greater than I thought they'd be, but the wait times in line seem to be not much worse than when we usually come in early Feb. I can't complain! On Tues., at park opening at MK, we walked onto Space Mountain, and Buzz Lightyear 2 times in a row. Today at AK, we had a 15 min. wait for Expedition Everest at 9:15 am, then headed straight to Kali River Rapids. After riding, they asked if we wanted to ride again! We didn't even have to get off. Dd and I were soaked, though, so we declined.
The weather has been wonderful until today. It started out 80 on Sat., and it's gradually increased. However, the humidity isn't bad. It has been breezy which has made it cooler in the evenings (usual pm temp has been low 60s). We needed jackets for Wishes at 9 pm. When the kids get out of the pool, they want to dry off immediately because they're chilly. Today was a different story. Hot, hot, hot! But still not too humid. Tomorrow is supposed to be the same. We're very thankful that our first days were so pleasant! Still, even today is nothing like summer here in the south.
Can't think of anything else! Definitely start packing now. I had an unbelievably busy week before we left, and I was very dis-organized. I that frazzled feeling! Ended up leaving my cell phone and had to turn around and go back for it; luckily, I realized it when we were only 15 mins. from home.
HTH!
