Infant on rides question

When we go in August my youngest will be 9 months.

When you are able to take the baby on the rides do they require the baby sits on the seat next to you or in your lap after they put the safety bar down?

Do you think if baby was in a front carrier/sling baby could stay in the sling or would we be required to take him out?

I haven't been to WDW with an infant so I am sure I will have more questions later.

TIA!

My youngest was 10 months old the first time we took her to Disneyworld. I did not take a stroller to MK - I had her in a side sling carrier the whole day. It was great! Much easier for me vs. the stroller. I did take her out of the carrier each time, but I'm not sure what would need to happen with a front carrier.

I had Audrey on my lap for each ride. There were very few she could not ride - just the obvious ones.

The baby centers in the parks are GREAT. Really wonderful! If you need something, be sure to stop by. They have decent prices on baby food, juice, cups, diapers....most anything you'd need.

Baby swap (sorry, I said "fast pass" before, but meant baby swap! You get to go through the fast pass line the second time!) is a great option, too. My older kids get to ride everything twice because their little sister can't yet!

Here's some good info if you haven't seen it yet:

Also rememebr that a lot of the rides have the baby swap section where you and DH can take turns waiting with the baby while the other rides if it's not one that you can ride with an infant.
