Hello fellow vacation planners. Just wanted to see if I could get some input on Pleasure Island from any of you. We are considering hiring Kids Nite Out again (which is wonderufl, BTW) and spending an evening at Pleasure Island, and this may sound silly, but we have never gone to Pleasure Island alone, we have only been with groups the two other times we went. Have any of you ever gone just you and your SO? And does anyone have a reccomendation of their favorite club? Last time we went (two years ago)Motion was fun, it may be "out" now though. I never hear anyone talk about Pleasure Island on here, so I thought I would pick your brains. And more importatnly, do you think that, having just celebrated the first anniversary of my 29th Birthday, we might feel uncomfortable (too old) being around all of these young-childless-mortgageless-partyallnight-sleeptilnoon party-goers?

Thanks for any advice you can give.

We went on our honeymoon and loed it! I was 28 when I got married (DH was 37) and we didn't feel out of place at all! LOVED Maniquins.

Hope you enjoy it!

My personal favorite w/o kids is the Jellyrolls Piano Bar at Boardwalk........ I cannot remember anything from the Pleasure Island that really stuck out in my head last time. We loved the boardwalk for our night out.

I personally LOVED the comedy club...it was awesome. We went to PI twice on our honeymoon (had World Hopper tickets then...could go as often as we wanted for a consecutive 7 days) and both nights we went to the comedy club. That is definitely my favorite, but then again, I'm not much for dancing.

I don't know how it is now, but both nights we went (both weeknights), we had to stand in line for 1-2 whole shows before we could get in. Oh, and it's impromptu comedy and they used the audience for the whole thing (the audience shared ideas which they turned into awesome comedy).
