I bought an inexpensive umbrella stroller with canopy for my 6 yr old (she's petite) but I know my 9 yr old niece and she will be whining "why does she get to ride"! I'm thinking of just returning that one and getting one of those that I've seen with a seat in back so the 9 yr old can sit or stand. Can you give me a brand that you've tried that's worked for you and can still travel with ease. Give me prices also.

We have the sit and stand and I love it great for the mall or the zoo or a walk, but it is huge and not very disney transportation friendly. We took it last year and hated it. It was impossible to fold up and lug up and down the steps of the busses. I just went and bought the Jeep side by side for our trip this year, but it has greater weight restrictions.

In the past we rented strollers at Disney. One trip it was my 8yo nephew, my 6yo DS, my 3yo DS. We rented 2 doubles and used the extra space for the backpack and stuff.
It was handy having everyone contained in 1 spot. They could jump in and out at rides & I really didn't find it hard to push them around.
That is what I would suggest for you guys for your trip.
When we go in September we will be renting again and brining our own stroller for our infant who will be 9 months. I needed a stroller small enough to lug around but for him to be able to sleep in. Bought the Circo 5C? It folds like an umbrella, weighs 13 lbs and reclines and has high handle bars (I am 6 ft and DH is 6'4)
Have Fun!
