Hi
In March we stayed 10 days in the Fort Wilderness cabins and LOVED it !! It was perfest to have the extra room. We rented the golf cart and never once even touched ourt car the whole time. This year my DH said what if we got a campsite. We tent alot over the summer and have a great time but I never thought about doing it at Disney. We did check out the tent sitew while we were there and they all seemed real nice and the price is so cheap compared to the cabins !! We could easily stay for 2 weeks.

I was just wondering how the showers and bathrooms were and the laundry facilities.

Any advice would be great
Thanks
Kim

We camp a lot and FW is our favorite place to stay at WDW, but we generally stay in the cabins. I've checked out the comfort stations at the tent loops and I have to say I have never seen cleaner comfort stations. We stay at sites ranging from KOA to state/national and privately owned and have seen a wide range of 'clean', lol. But each and every time I have visited a comfort station at Fort Wilderness you could have eaten off the floors if you so chose. Since we stayed in the cabins we never *used* the comfort stations so I can't say anything definitive about water pressure/heat for the showers, but everything is clean and well lit. I popped into one of the laundry facilities in a camping loop because it was closer than the one by the cabin pool and it was clean with plenty of washers/dryers. The laundry at the cabin pool is the same - clean and plenty of washers & dryers as well as a big counter area to fold on.
