We stayed at ASMovies in 2004, and we really liked it! We were in the Toy Story section, it was a really good location for us. None of the buildings was too far of a walk from the food court though. I had read that the walks would be long and horrible, etc., but it wasn't more than 7 minutes or so from the furthest point away. I really liked the food court, there were so many things to pick from, and everything we had was really good. We thought the food court at Movies had more choices than the one at Caribbean Beach did. There were a couple times the bus for Movies was crowded at closing, so we used the bus for Music and just walked across the parking lot to Movies.

We're also going in May 2007, and I'm still debating on resorts. We've stayed at CBR twice, and we like it, but it's going to be a value resort this trip. We really did like Movies, but I'm thinking about Pop Century this time.

Let us know what you decide, hope this helps!

We are staying at ASMO next week! We've never stayed there before, but have stayed at sports in 1994. We were in a room near the football helmuts, and liked it very much. That was a very long time ago though. At that time, it was the only AS resort, (music was being built). I'm interested in hearing others input on this as well. We have a preferred room this time, but I have no clue what buildings this includes.

We stayed at Music this past June and we loved it. We was all the way in the back in the Broadway section. It was a bit of a walk to the front but was only bothersome after walking the parks all day but even then it wasn’t unbearable. It was quiet which I was not expecting after what I heard. Everyone was so nice for the exception of 1 bus driver. And the buses ran regularly and really had no problems getting buses to and fro. I think one time we waited for the next bus because it was getting crowded and I didn’t like having to pull the stroller onto a crowded bus (I think this was my one complaint is not enough room to maneuver strollers on the buses)

We got bit by the bug and we are returning in Feb we decided we would stay at POP this time. Next im sure it will be Movies the only one I wouldn’t care for is Sports but that’s just us, im sure it’s a very nice resort too.

Thank you everyone for all your input! It really is reassuring when you hear a lot of positive remarks, I am not as nervous now about choosing this resort! Thanks again...

Hi! I recently stayed at the All Star Movies (2 weeks ago), and stayed there last year. I love it there. I always ask for a third floor room, preferrably not in Toy Story or Fantasia. All the rooms are the same, other than the theme, and I found the Fantasia rooms boring compared to the other. My son LOVES, LOVES, LOVES Woody and Buzz but I didn't want a room there because of all the people that walk through there getting to the giant Woody, Buzz, Rex, and Bo Peep statues. I'd rather walk a little than hear the noise.

I also request a room closer to the parking lot rather than a preferred room. The preferred ones are closer to the pool and everything but, again, there's the pedestrian traffic and the walk from the parking lot is longer. (I spend more time walking to and from the car on vacation than to the pool.

But, it's all personal preference. I'm sure you'll have fun wherever you stay.

Have fun!
