What is your opinion as to the best Disney World Trip Planning book or books?

Hands down my favorite is the Passporter. The tine is light and fun, but still realistic. The information is well presented and logical to follow and there are worksheets all throughout the book to help you work out things and keep all your notes and revisions in one place. The pockets in the back are great for keeping reciepts & keepsakes and they are pre printed with places for you to put your information on the front (days plans confirmation #s etc) and on the back places for you to jot down your favorite memory, the funniest thing that happened and how much you actually spent that day. Great planning tool. I broke down and bought the deluxe edition last year knowing I had at least 2 trips coming up, but previously had the spiral bound edition and it was just as great. I usually find it in stock in Borders, occasionally in Barnes & noble, but you can always order it and they have a website. Just add the www.com to the name.

My second favorite is Kim Wright Wiley's Guide to WDW with Kids. The tone is slightly humourus and she breaks down the attractions by age group giving reviews and potential scare factors for everything (like Peter Pan & Small World are dark rides, tea cups can make you sick etc). This one is especially great if you have small kids 5 and under.

If you have kids ages 7+ they love the Official By Kids For Kids Guide to WDW. It's got a good ammount of information and tips, but there are also tons of games, pictures and reviews by other kids.

i also love my passporter. i have 4 or 5 other guide books that are ok, but i just love the layout of the passporter. i can pick it up and find the info i need right away. i refer to it all the time, and i've been to disney about 8 times in the past 3 years, but i still use it all the time. i really recommend it, as a guidebook, a planning tool and a keepsake after the trip. hth! Another vote for Passporter!!

We just got back (2 AM!) and even my DH is in live with this book! "Honey, what does your book say about...." LOL!

I love how it is organized, and that everything is kept neatly in place!

I only wish I had bought htis much earlier and read through it a bit more thouroughly! I had only purchased it on Saturday afternoon after reading such great reviews about it and we left 4 AM sunday morning! I stillo got more than my $$ worth out of it!!
