Photo pass is a card you carry around with you. Everytime a cast member takes your picture they scan your card. The pictures will then all be available on line when you get home to purchase. The card is free, the pictres are expensive. I think you can actually purchase the pictures at the park before you leave...maybe at the tent in toon town? Also, I heard you can purchase the rights to all the pictures for like 100 dollars...not sure.

last year we got home and didn't realize the pics cost 15 each to buy!

Yesm, the firs ttime someone takes your picture in the parks, they will hand you a card...use this card EVERY TIME you see a photo pass person. THey are usually stationed at hte park icons and at sem meals and meet and greets, too. THere was also one at Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique. The last day of your trip, you can buy ALL The photos as well as the rights to them on CD for $99. Our CD had 44 pix on it. My Friend managed to get 142 on hers!! Individual pix run about $15 on average. You may view them on line, too, but only for 30 days. When you buy the CD< Disney will include their waiver so that you can print them out at places like Wal-Mart, etc without a problem.

If you KNOW you will be buying the CD, then maximize your photo pass! We had them take individial shots as well as shots of just the grown ups! Have them take your picture when you arrive AND when you leave the parks. Have PIctures taken in the daylight and with the night lights on!

I do think the $99 is very worth it! THere are a few different llocation that you can pick up your CD from. I recommend not gettign it until your very last day! IT took us about 1/2 hour on Main Street in MK to get ours.

The previous posters did a good job explaining what photo pass is and how it works. If you are booked with a package check your paperwork when you check in, you should have information on how to order a free 5x7 from your photopass pictures.

As soon as you get your first photo pass card (and then any additional you might end up with) take a photo of the back of the card! There is a series of numbers across the back. That series of numbers is the only way to access all of your photo pass pictures at a single time, like online or when getting the CD. If you do not have that card or that series of numbers you will have to go to each location and scroll through the whole days photos to try and locate yours. With the numbers you can pull them up even if you lose the card.

The photo pass CD will hold upwards of 300 pictures.
