I must say that reading through this board has given me some great insight into plannig my Disney trip next year.

If you want to park hop between Epcot World Showcase and MGM there is a boat you can take. The International Gateway in Epcot is over by the UK. The boat will stop at some resorts but it saves you the long way to the front of Epcot and if you have a stroller you won't have to fold it up. Besides it's just plain more pleasant.
Stuff to bring to the parks - snacks for the kids. You want stuff that won't get crushed in your backpack and that the heat won't zap. We would do fruit chews and rice krispie treats for in line. For short breaks we would do applesauce in a tube (do they still make that? I'd put them in the ice bucket overnight and they'd still be cool midmorning) or peanut butter in a squeeze tube.
Have a colorful ribbon or something to tie to your stroller to help you find it. I used umbrella strollers so I'd wrap hot pink hair scrunchies on the handles.

If you're bringing snacks/drinks, freeze a juice box/water or two to act as an ice pack w/o taking up a drink space.
Security LOVED our Mesh backpack and zip lock bags!
For a small fee, you can have cases of water and food items delivered right to your room! We used WeGoShop, but there are others out there as well! The fee we paid ($15) was so much cheaper than using our snack credits or buying water in the parks! ANd cheaper than car rental or taxi!
If you split up your group, think of very specific places to meet..."To the right of the stroller rental by the blue wall" is a good place, but "By the fountain" is not since the fountain is round and has many sides!
Have a plan, but be flexible!! Know that even the best plans will fail at some point!
If you are going to plan sit down breakfasts, try to plan then before the park opens! You get some unique photo ops!
Ask lots of questions NOW< but remember your milage may vary when it comes to actual experiences!
You know your family best!

We try to eat granola bars and yogurt in the room for breakfast for early EMH. When we go to the parks, we bring Uncrustables, they defrost in 1 to 2 hours depending on the weather and it is a well balanced snack that my kids love. We also freeze juice boxes to keep our snacks cool and if they haven't defrosted all the way, the kids think they are slushies.

Everyone wants to play video games more than once. So...when you ride Buzz Lightyear get a fastpass. When your fastpass return time is approaching ride it via the standby line. Then when you get off your fastpass will be good and you can immediately get back on which is good because your kids will be saying can we do that again.

Teppanyaki (Japan) and Nine Dragons are great at Epcot. Most of us can have Chinease food (Nine Dragons) anytime, BUT NOT LIKE THIS! Try it.
Jasmine is located in Moracco at Epcot. Stumbeled upon her last time we were there.
Don't miss the belly dancing show (Moracco) and drum show in Japan at Epcot.
Don't miss Goofy's candy shop and Lego store. We have never been to these (didn't know about them until this board) but it is a must next trip.
Try Disney Quest. I was not thrilled about going here one night with husband and son (not into video games) but it is so much more than video games. Lots of interactive family stuff to do together. Loved it and will do again.
Take the boat ride to MK.

If your camera battery is dead and you forget to charge it at night, bring the charger & the battery to guest relations in the park and they'll charge it for you. They'll give you a claim ticket and you return an hour later to pick it up.
To go along with the acts in World Showcase..don't miss the Chinese acrobats or Off-Kilter in Canada.

If someone in your party is celebrating a birthday, stop at Guest Relations in any of the parks for a birthday button (pin). Often, the person wearing the pin will get special treatment by the CM's (ex: last trip, we went to MK on my DH's 40th birthday. We were about to get in line for the Tomorrowland Speedway, when a CM noticed my Dh's birthday button. She told us to follow her, and we were moved right to the front of the line! If you've ever been on that ride, you know how long the line is!!)
Also, tell the front desk of your resort if you are celebrating a birthday. They will bring a signed photo of the persons favorite character, along with a few balloons, to your room.
