Space Mountain ?

I know that Space Mountain seating is single-file, but can more than one person fit per seat or is it one person per seat? I don't know if my oldest DS will want to ride or not, but I am not sure I'd feel as comfortable if we can't share a seat.

TIA!

Thank you! As long as I can hold on to him in some way or another, I will be fine, lol. I would be a nervous wreck if he had to sit all by himself. I feel like I could be more effective than any seat belt if the occasion arises, lol. Thanks again!

I think it will be difficult to have any kind of hold on your ds.

Thank you. I am sure you are right and that it is completely safe. I guess I am having "letting go" issues :) Years ago, my brother kind of slid down in the seat toward the floor of the "car" and to this day does not like SM. The ride has likely changed since then, but it makes me nervous. Actually, I was thinking of DS too. I was thinking that if he got scared, he would feel better if either me or DH could hold on to him. He will probably be OK as long as he can hear us. Dh is larger and taller than me and could probably reach him if need be. I am not sure that SM is DH's favorite ride though. I will just go with the flow and let DS decide if he wants to ride or not, but I surely will not be pushy about it :)

Thanks again for the info.

I feel for you! My girls are sounding like they want to give Space Mtn a try and I'm not looking forward to this.

Glad to know that someone understands my issues :) I mentioned it to DH last night, and he said 'We are not taking the kids on that ride yet, they are too young." So, I can quit worrying about it. I think since it is inside, DS probably won't even notice it or can be easily distracted (I hope anyway). Good luck on your trip! I am sure your girls will do great and you will survive too, lol.

I was 5 when I rode it, it's one of the few things I remember about the trip, I loved it!

Glad your Dh has common sense! Mine can't wait til his girls are old enough to ride some of the more thrilling rides with him since I'm too wimpy! :D

Hmmm....that actually makes me feel better in a way - that at 5 you didn't freak out LOL My girls have ridden Dinosaur (and that was a year ago so they were 7 and 5) and they love Splash and Big Thunder so they'll probably love Space Mtn.
