I'm thinking it took us less than 10 minutes to get from the gate to Norway.

We will be in Disney World at that time too! I looked at my spreadsheet that I made and have 9pm as start time for Illuminations. I just checked the website and that is still correct. You can look up parade and evening show times by going to the official website. Look for "calendar" on the top right. The page will come up with MK calendar for March. Change to the park and month you want to look at, then click on the number of the actual date that you want the times for. Fortunately, it is not as hard to do as it is to explain :)

Illuminations almost always starts at 9pm, doesn't matter what time sunset is. The only exceptions to 9pm are usually actual holidays (sometimes, on these days, they will actually do it much later--like 4th of July, New Year's Eve, etc) and 9:30 during the Christmas season starting at the end of the November to allow for the Candlelight Processional. Otherwise, it is almost always at 9pm...making it one of the early closing parks in the busy season and the late closing parks in the off-season.

This is a hard one for me to answer too since almost anytime that we're heading to World Showcase from Epcot's entrance, we're in a rush, trying to make an ADR.

My DH makes fun of my spreadsheet, but I am sure he will appreciate it once we are there :) We really want to see Illuminations this time around. I have never seen it, but we too have small kids (they will be 5 and almost 3 when we go). I am hoping to see it our first night, but we will be playing it by ear too. It is funny how we do all this prep work and most of what we do depends on the kids. I am not complaining, though. I love the planning; it is almost as much fun as going (yes, I admit that I am a nerd).

Hope you have a great trip! It is getting close :)
