Does Cinderella every wander the parks?

I'm feeling guilty that I"m not booking a Cinderella meal for my 5yo dd, but I also have two sons 6 and 9. Dh is adamant that we not split up for meals. We have two character meals planned - chef mickey's and crystal palace - . Is there a chance we'll run into some princesses walking around? Or do they keep Cinderella locked up in the castle for only the high paying customers??

I just don't want my dd to be disappointed.

Thanks.

I was struggling with a similar delimma because Cindy is the only character that my DS wants to meet. He does't like characters that "can't talk" as he puts it. However, we are not on the dining plan and I am afraid that my DS would clam up if we booked a meal with her. So, I posted a similar question a while back and was told that Cinderella is a regular at the Judge's Tent in Toontown. We are planning to take DS to see her there. That way if he is afraid of her too, we haven't just paid $100 for him to hide under the table, lol.

Hope this helps!

In the tent in ToonTown you can sometimes find Cinderella and her mice or other princesses.

That is the easiest place to meet Cinderella.

Toontown is the way to go. It is called the Toontown Hall of Fame tent, its in a giant circus tent, the store County Bounty is in the same tent. When you enter go to the right and there are 3 lines. I always ask the closest cast member who is in each room before waiting in line. Usually they only like to tell you 2 of the characters and let you be surprised on the 3rd. So I would ask if Cinderella is in there before waiting in line. We met her there last summer, she was with Jasmine and Esmeralda. The lines get long early, try getting there first thing after Toontown opens or during a parade. The Judges Tent is only to meet Mickey Mouse.

I have also heard rumors (never seen it for myself) that if CRT is not busy she sometimes wanders around the castle to greet people. My friends who just came back said she was in the breezeway of the castle greeting guests. So you may get lucky there too.

For clarification purposes

Mickey is available for a meet and greet in the Judges Tent. To get there you go through Mickey's house and his yard and then into the (air conditioned) Judges Tent where you get to watch really old classic Fab 5 shorts while you wait. Often you can bypass Mickey's house and get in line by going through his garage.

The Toon Town Hall of Fame, located in between Minnies Cottage and Mickey's house (across from the playground and Donald's Boat the Miss Daisy) is a large gift shop - fun fact of the day, the statue in the courtyard is of Toon Town's 'founder'- Once you enter the gift shop, look immediately to your right, there will be 3 lines. Above the queue is a sign telling you who you can meet at the end of each line. The first one is classic characters, these change from any of the fab 5 (minus Mickey) and some other popular characters like Chip & Dale, Pluto etc. The center line is princesses and storybook characters - Cinderella is often a regular, you can also meet other princesses and characters like Mary Poppins & Alice in Wonderland. The last queue is normally your pals from the 100 acre woods.

LOL we were typing the same thing at the same time. :-)

I have heard she does this during the dinner hour. She is not scheduled to appear at dinner - only the Fairy Godmother hosts that meal- but is often found in the lobby (can't get into the lobby w/o reservations) and can sometimes be found in the breezeway.

You've pretty much gotten what you need as far as Cinderella.

If there are any other characters in particular you are looking for, you could always ask a CM (= Cast Member, employee at Disney) and they can "call" to see where and when many of the characters will appear.

Also, here are a few websites I've enjoyed (especially if she wants to look for other princesses!):

http://www.wdisneyw.co.uk/greet.html

http://pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares/index.htm (This site is where I found out about Aurora, my daughter's favorite princess, at International Gateway--one of the best character visits we've had!)

All Ears has "Characters at a Glance" for each park:
MK: http://allearsnet.com/tp/mk/mk_char.htm
Epcot: http://allearsnet.com/tp/ep/ep_char.htm
MGM: http://allearsnet.com/tp/mgm/m_char.htm
AK: http://allearsnet.com/tp/ak/ak_char.htm

Have a great trip!!

Laura,

On our first family trip a few years ago we saw Belle, Aurora, and Cinderella in the judges tent. Belle was quite taken with Isabella and spent a lot of time with her. My daughter walked away from her after telling Belle, goodbye, I love you. :)

Thanks for clearing up my misinformation. I knew Mickey was behind his house in a separate tent, I just was unclear on the names of the different tents. Sorry, didn't mean to confuse anyone.
