Going back and forth between parks

Because it's been a long time and I'm sure some things have changed I want to make sure I'm understanding this right. If I have the Park Hopper option and I take the kids to say MGM one morning and then we go to Epcot, if we drive over, we show them the parking receipt from MGM and we will not have to pay? Is that the quickest way or using their transportation would be quicker? (We are going the first week of May) Also, with the park hopper option can you only go to the same park once per day? Say we go to MK in the a.m. leave to go to another park and want to go back at night for something, can you do that? I have older kids (10 and 13) so I know they're going to want to see the parks at night.
Thanks!
Tara

Hi Tara,
We're more of a one day-one park people but this is what I know: With a park hopper, you can hop as many parks and come back as many times as you want anywhere in one day! In fact, even WITHOUT the park hopper, you could leave, say MGM in the middle of the day, go to the hotel for a break (or to a restaurant at another resort or whatever), then come back to the SAME park for their evening events. It's what we plan to do!
Isn't that right everybody? (There's experts in here that know far more than me, I just happened to see the post first, so just checking!)
Best of luck!
Once you pay for a parking pass, it's good for the whole day.
Normally it's easier to drive park to park if you drove to your first park. The only real instance that it's not is if you're going back and forth between MK & Epcot and then you just park at the TTC or Epcot since you can't park directly in front of MK anyways. OR if you ended up parked way out in some remote area of the parking lot and have to walk all the way down the aisle before waiting for the tram.
Yes, parking ($10 per day) is good for the whole day at all parks. Same with stroller and locker rentals.
If you're not driving there's a park to park transportation.
Park hopping is as many parks, as many times per day as you want. We LOVE this feature and can't do without it.
No park hopping you can leave and re enter the same park on the same day.

The only park transportation we PREFER to use rather than driving ourselves is the monorail between Epcot and MK. Otherwise, driving is our choice (we can "chill out" in our own vehicle without strangers as well--good downtime for us).
An option between MGM & Epcot that we haven't tried yet (but so wish we had) is the walking path between the 2 parks. They also have a boat between the 2 parks, but I've heard the walking path is better.
