If I purchased a 7 day base ticket, could I visit more than 1 park in a day and eat up 2 days? I'm just wondering because it's cheaper than a 4 day with park hopper. Thanks!

No. The tickets are coded to only allow entry to one park per day unless the park hopper feature is added. Once you go through a turnstile your ticket is notated. If you went to Magic Kingdom in the am, your ticket would be encoded with the date and MK. You can leave and re-enter MK all day. If you tried to go to Epcot as soon as you put the ticket into the scanner the red light will come on, the CM will look at the screen and will tell you that you that you have a base ticket that has already been used that day and that you can go back to the park you were already at (they'll be able to tell you this as well as the time you entered that park) or you can go over to Guest Relations and add the park hopping feature.

Yeah, I figured they had a system to account for that but it never hurts to ask. ;)

Thank you as always!
