Hi Ladies,
I just discovered this board and it seems like a wonderful group here. I am going to disney from May 7th ( reach around noon ) - May 13th ( leave around 4 pm).
I am travelling with a big group -
Sisters family ( Sister, her DH, Kids 11 & 7 )
My family ( DH, myself, 2.8 years old son)
My parents ( dad, mom )
I have been to disney about 5 years back when it was just DH and myself. We did not have any idea and no planning. But we had fun. We went to Universal, Epcot.
Its my sister's first time and she is just visiting the US. So its her only time most likely. I am thinking that they should see Magic Kingdom, Epcot and at least one 1 water park. ( they are seeing universal studio in LA ). Anything that she will be missing ?
For my family, I am thinking Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom/Sea World. Which do you think toddlers will enjoy more ?
For my parents, I am really not sure coz they won't sit in any major rides. They can come to Magic Kingdom as the rides are not that crazy ? Any tips for elders ? My mom is not in the best shape and might get tired with all the walking.
What else is there in the Orlando area to do where we can all go together ?
I am really getting nervous to take my toddler. I am sure he will get exhausted and won't be able to sit in most rides.
Thanks so much for any tips/advise that you guys may have.
Seema

Welcome to the board. The ladies here are full of great advice and information.
A couple things to think about if you haven't already...
You will probably want a stroller for your ds. If you're not bringing your own, you can rent them at the parks for $10/day.
Are you planning on sticking together as a group of 9? That will also influence some decisions you make. You might want to have an idea of what you are doing each day so you don't do a lot of standing around talking about what everyone wants to do.
Are you planning on eating at any table service meals in Disney. If you are, it is best to make reservations (especially with your size of group) as a lot of people walking up get turned away. Counter service won't be an issue.
There are lots of rides in MK for you little guy. You might want to plan your day, so you have some breaks to give everyone a chance to rest. Or the older ones can do some of the thrill rides while the little one takes a break.
A good site for information is allears.net. They have information on all the rides, attractions and restaurants.
I don't know much about outside Disney, maybe one of the other ladies can help.
HTHs
Christine going to WDW in 19 days.
Welcome Seema!
