we have been 3 times in Feb... there were no lines I think the longest we waited was 5 minutes for Splash Mountain If those dates hit Presidents day then it will be busier... for me the hardest part was the weather our 1st trip it was WARM like 80 so our 2nd trip we packed shorts and it never got above 65 and we were freezing at night and it was never really warm enough to swim in the pools (well maybe in the afternoon? but we were in the parks then as they have shorter hours) the 3rd trip we packed warm clothes and it was hot again

Thank you so much. I feel the same, weather will not be an issue for me, because I'd rather it be a little chilly and put on a sweater, then humidly hot and have huge lines and rude people. We will be coming back the day before Presidents day so hopefully we will avoid the rush. Thanks again :o)

We've done that week twice and really enjoyed it.

Thank you so much! That is what I needed to hear. I'd like to be able to use the pools, but it not a priortiy to me, because the kids can swim anytime.
Thank you so much again for all your info. This really helps :o)

I always laugh when I read people's posts about swimming not being a priority because in our household it is THE priority LOL!

My DD(9)is such a little fish - she spends hours in our pool at home but always always wants to swim whenever we go away. She loves hotel pools of any kind (so much more exciting than our own for some reason) and of course the Disney pools are wonderful, we all love them.

So of course we have to plan a water park day and always allow plenty of time for swimming in our schedule while at the World.

I keep checking from time to time because I think the girl was actually born with gills LOL!

DH and I went from February 9-16th (2001) and we loved it. It was 84 degrees everyday. The only "negative" thing for us was that it was during the Cheerleading competition and we stayed at the AS Sports. It was very crowded with teenagers and some days it was nice and others not so much. We'd go back again during this time but not staying at the value resorts if the Competition is going on.

I LOVED the weather and the small (next to nothing lines).

Enjoy!

Melissa,
Is there a way to find out if there will be any competions going on at that time?
