what days to visit certain parks

I looked at a website a few months back that suggested what parks to visit on certain days. Do any of you know what site I am talking about? Can't find it now. It is not all ears.

I am looking at my preliminary schedule. I have MK for Saturday that we get there and Monday. I don't think MK on a Saturday is a good idea now that I am thinking about it! Sunday I have Epcot. Not sure that is a good idea either.

Any suggestions? We will be there Feb 2 - 9.

I've used touringplansDOTcom in the past....but it appears that it's a subscription site now. I'm sure there will be better suggestions for you.

I think that February will be nice crowd-wise, no matter what. We do usually try to avoid MK on a Saturday if the weather is nice. We've done Epcot on a Sunday though.

I have a link to a page that shows Best Days for each parks on my webpage of links: http://alygatordisney.tripod.com/

Traditionally, Sat & Mon have been the worst days for MK (and I'm talking over the past 15 years of research) and Tues & Wed have been the best.

We just went to MK on a Monday evening and it was great.

Thanks so much! Are thinking about going back at that time (Mardi Gras)? I know you are from Louisiana too...

Not sure. Mike said, "You've been saying for years that we're going Mardi Gras '08"...lol (I've been saying it since Mardi Gras '04 when we went when it was at the END of the month).

So, he wants to go then, but it'll only be 3 days, sleeping only 2 nights. Driving...parks for 3 days...driving...no down time. We go back to school on Wed. and I can't take any personal days because I need both of them for Aly's first overnight school trip next May.

This year Mardi Gras is Feb 5. Most of Louisiana schools have off Mon & Tues, a lot have Wed, and a good bit have the whole week off.

Here's the deal. Many of our friends & relatives (and even us, once) have gone at Mardi Gras. All of the ones that went in EARLY Feb (before Pres Day) said the crowds were LOW. All of those who went on Pres Week or after (like us) said the crowds were heavier.

So, it shouldn't be too crowded since it's at the beginning of the month. But, a lot of people know the secret now.

I don't know when they'll post the 2008 Spring Break Calendar, but *I* posted this link on 1/20/07 for 2007 dates... http://www.tripsmarter.com/panamacity/springbreak/sbcalendar.htm

There were no spring break dates posted that second week of Feb, so that might be the better week. I've always been told that it's better for US to go when Mardi Gras falls the first week, though.

There are cheerleading, dance, & twirl competitions scheduled throughout the month of Feb, so that's something to keep in mind.

I would think leaving on the Friday BEFORE Pres Day would be okay, but I'm OBVIOUSLY not the expert since I thought they'd be GONE by the weekend we got there! Oh, well! But, really, the problem (I think) was Michigan. There were as many Michigan guests as there were Louisiana guests.
