Stuck in a planning rut......

We've picked our dates for 2008, and I know what package we're going to get, but I just can't make myself want to do any planning.

I love WDW, and I usually love planning, even if it's just for fun, but I just can't get excited about this one. It will probably be the last one for a couple of years, because I'm going to need a new car, and it looks like it's going to be a van this time. Part of me is really tempted to use the savings for the trip and get the van next year, and put WDW off until 2009. I guess we'll go ahead and book by the 180-day mark, which is in late November, and go from there. If we decide to go ahead with the car, we can always cancel, and I'll know by 45 days out what we want to do.

I just can't get into it this time. I'm really thinking about letting DH plan this one, and he said he would if I wanted him to. Has anyone else ever felt like this?

Aw, Steph! I think you're afraid to let yourself get excited about this trip b/c of the car/van issue.

The first trip we made to Disney was in 1987. We took our sons 7 and 9 at the time, and my SIL. We stayed outside the park. The place we stayed at I'd never stay at again, lol. don't even know if it still exhists. anyway, we bought a minivan in April of that year and drove down to Florida from PA. We stayed overnight in Florence,SC. Next couple times we went ourselves. In 98, 2000, and 2002. All on site Hotels. This October we are taking our 9 yr old Grandson. We'll stay at Port Orleans French Quarter.

I think maybe Val is right about you not letting yourself get excited. Though, I almost felt like I was a little burnt out on Disney for the month or two after we returned. I acutally thought maybe I was cured....but Disney fever struck again:) We are not going back until at least 2009 (and it could be longer). I have been thinking of planning a trip just for fun....do you want me to plan yours, LOL?

Hugs to you until you get it all worked out!

Hey, M'Shel! I was listening to it earlier. No, I'm not a "VIP" member! LOL I listen for free. I have noticed that sometimes when I click on it, after the initial advertisement, a screen pops up that gives you two choices: "go to sponsor" or "continue"; if you don't select anything, it just doesn't play.

Have you tried Mouse House Radio on Live 365? That's the one I listened to on the regular computer. I have too many problems with any kind of radio on the laptop now.
