We were originally planning a long weekend at WDW for the weend of 8/10-12, but unfortunately DH came home from a business trip with a torn calf muscle, DS got pink eye and a sinus infection and I got a sinus AND ear infection. We were not the happiest family on Earth! LOL Anyway, we are now going Labor Day weekend. This time, however, DH wants us to drive down on Saturday morning, instead of Friday night. I am really annoyed b/c this would really eat into the time we could be spending at the park. THEN to top it all off he only wants to spend ONE day at the MK, instead of three days at the WDW parks like we had intented to do during our original long weekend. PLEASE send some pixie dust this way so that DH can see the error of his ways! LOL

Pixie dust flying your way!!
Hoping for some speedy healing on that calf muscle (WHAT was he doing??) and that the better he gets the more he will feel like spending longer at the parks.
I am sure you have already pointed out that more days will mean he can take some rest time for his poor injured leg and not have to try and do everything in a big kamikae rush!
Hope you and little DS feel better too.

The pixie dust worked! Well, I stopped by the Disney store after work today and picked up a brochure that explained the various ticket options for Florida residents. When DH realized that we were not forced to use all three days in the pass in one trip he was finally convinced. (Can you tell that DH is a CPA?!) So we are doing WDW parks Saturday and Sunday, and saving the third day on the pass for my bday in mid-December. The only bummer is that I didn't have any luck making last minute reservations for a character meal. Well, they did have two openings for breakfast, both on Sunday - Chef Mickey's at 9am and the Beach Club at 7:30am but I wasn't crazy about either one. Plus, we are staying off-site and our hotel already offers complimentary breakfast and I would have preferred to have lunch or dinner. Anyway, I think I'm going to "save" my character meal for our December trip. I'm hoping to meet Mary Poppins! (:
