One more Magic Kingdom question!

Just want to make sure I know what to expect at the parking lot b/c we are carrying our full-size stroller. (The stroller has navigated the hilly streets of San Francisco and it's also been to AK and DTD, so I figure it can't be any worse in the MK!)

So . . . we arrive at the transportation center to park. Then what? Please guide me through this step by step. Can I expect elevators, automatic escalators, or will I be stuck walking up the steps? After we ride the monorail and arrive at the MK what happens? I'm assuming there is a ramp of some sort for handicap accessibility that is also good for strollers. Or am I going to be going through a narrow turnstile? After that what happens? We don't have to stop and purchase tickets, so where do we go from there? Any information you can provide is truly appreciated!

I could be wrong, hopefully someone will be around that knows for certain, but I'm pretty sure it's a ramp that goes up to the monorail stations at the TTC, MK and Epcot.

If I understand right, you don't have a wheelchair to use, just the stroller? Regardless, you'll put the ticket through for the child in the stroller (if they need one), turn the turnstile and the CM will open a gate to push the stroller through, and you'll do the same thing with your ticket and go through the turnstile yourself. Does that even make sense? The stroller doesn't go through the narrow turnstile, it goes through a gate that is wide enough.

If you already have your tickets, just get in line at the turnstiles.

From what you are saying, it sounds like I can open the stroller as soon as we get on the monorail. I just did not want to find myself putting all our stuff in the basket and then having to take it out, fold stroller, unfold stroller, put stuff back in, and then do it all over again!

If it's not crowded, you should be able to roll the stroller right onto the monorail without ever folding it. But that's only if it's not too crowded.

Thank you for the heads up about the tram. I remember them from our trip to AK last year. Boy are those things uncomfortable!
