Hi everyone,
My in laws invited my DH,ds(2yo),me and my SIL, niece(3yo) and her DH to spend a week in Disney in october (7-13),they are paying for everything, which is great including hotel, ddp and tickets..talk about nice..anyway, Dh and I are talking about doing the MNSHP thu oct 11, and since i never done it, I thought that any of you ladies could give me some ideas of what to expect, I know i'll probably love it, but besides the parade and candy, what else is there to do there, any rides,ect..please any advise will be greatly apreciated..
Thank you in advance

I love MNSSHP!
We will be there for the 2nd time next week (I am so excited!) we had a blast last time: we all 3 (myself DH and DD then 7)dressed up in costume as did very many other people, some with simple costumes (ours included and some with really elaborate ones)
When you enter the park you get a trick or treat bag and a map so you can follow the candy trail. Most of the rides are open and there is a special halloween parade and fireworks - the fireworks were truly amazing last time.
There is a tent with a dance party going on somewhere (I think it was in Fantasy land but I'm not sure)It was just a whole lot of fun to be in the park after dark, riding the rides with barely any lines.
You will have fun I am sure

Oh I am so jealous! I love MNSHP! We couldn't go this year. We went last year and had a wonderful time. I personally loved the "not-so-spooky" parade. It was great! Especially if your family loves Halloween. My girls dressed up in princess costumes. I wasn't sure how my girls would be till midnight but they lasted and had a blast. And like the other posts, the fireworks are wonderful! Have a great time!!

Definitely consider costuming.
Shay,
Yes it runs twice I think.
We didn't see it last time as the first one was cancelled because it rained and we were busy riding Space Mountain (again and again and again) when the second one was on.
Hopefully we will see it next week (I can't believe I wrote that LOL!)We leave TOMORROW!

Yep, the parade usually runs twice (unless bad weather) and the fireworks only go off once.
