Amber,

You might want to post these questions separately under the "Munching with the Mouse" and the "Magical Accomodations" folders.

We have stayed at All Star Movies and loved it, we are going to stay there again next May! The rooms are a bit smaller than an average hotel room but we never really noticed it (family of 4). I choose it because my girls were both huge Toy Story fans and we stayed in that section. Next trip we will stay in the Herbie section since both girls are fans of the new Herbie movie. The resort has two great pools, a playground, an arcade and a great gift shop. Also one of our favorite things about value resorts are the food courts. We found it so easy to eat there so everyone could get what they wanted, they have lots of choices and prices are fine. They also offer are refillable mug with costs $12 and you can have unlimited refills in the food court for your whole stay. So worth the money. We also take advantage of the resort to park buses and never use our car while there. Last trip we stayed at Pop Century and while it was great too, my family preferred the All Star Movies.

Hope this helps

We've stayed at All Star Movies (ASMo) once and we really liked it. Last trip in May, we stayed at Pop and liked it even better. But given the ages of your children, I'd say ASMo is a great choice! They will love the giant icons there. We stayed in the Toy Story section, before it became preferred. My boys LOVED all of the icons in that section!

As for the dining plan...it's purely a personal decision based on how your family eats. We've done the current dining plan (the one that includes tip and appetizer) twice and although we enjoyed it, it was a ton of food and too many table service meals for us in a week's time. Next time, we'll plan our dining schedule out the way we want to eat and see if the DP is a good value or not. I am leaning towards not, since we don't want a table service meal every day. We've been to Disney 7 times, so we know where we like to eat (it gets easier to plan the more often you go!). Also, the next time we go, both of our boys will be considered adults on the plan, so that makes a huge difference in price for us, especially since our youngest eats next to nothing. It would be a total waste of money for him. My suggestion to you would be to look at the menus on www.allearsnet.com to figure out what restaurants you'd like to eat at and what meals you'd likely choose. Add up all the prices for the length of your trip and decide if it's cost effective to purchase a plan.

Have fun planning!!!
