that's pretty odd! it's a smart marketing scheme though, to just change the packaging to market to a different audience. i've never had optimum nonslim - i just really like the taste of optimum slim, plus it's vegan and seems healthy - but it's good to know that it's basically the same so if tj's doesn't have slim, i can buy nonslim.

There are slight differences, but I can't remember them all. I think Optimum has flax seed and OS doesn't. Optimum has freeze dried blueberries. I thought it was funny because when I first read the label, I thought "Wow, it's a huge difference" and then I looked at serving size...

EEEW yuck, freeze dried blueberries! ok, i'm definitely sticking with OS! i hate dried fruit in my cereal.

you know, there should be a "i'm surprised!" and a "disgusting!" emoticon, don't ya think... there have been several times i've wanted to use each of those.
