I'm going to do the crosstrainer, and try running on the treadmill again. I haven't run since I hurt my get skiing a few weeks ago. Then I'll try those pull ups, lift, abs, and stretch.

Firm Cardio-Sculpt and Firm Ab-Sculpt. Can't make the gym with hubby gone and both kids home. Think we'll go to the beach after for some sun and sand!

I ran 2.2 miles today. I was having some knee pain and took a few weeks off. Now, I'm slowly working my way back to 3 miles.

I don't know if I mentioned this on this board, but I have had 3 knee surgeries on my right knee. (I'm a former basketball player.) Well, sometimes I push myself a little too hard and my knee begins to swell and ache. I took a couple of weeks off from running and now I have to build up my endurance again. It's amazing how fast it goes away! Running is very tough on my knee (a lot of pounding), but I am determined to reach my goal of 3 miles in 30 minutes.

I have bad knees, too, and the constant pounding from running bothers them. I also wonder what the pounding from skating (esp. all the falls on my knees) and skiing will do to them long-term. I'm just hoping they'll have easy fixes when I get older!

You sound like my husband's dream woman--he loves basketball and would love to be married to someone who could play. He originally wanted five kids so he could field a basketball team (with himself). Well, I'm only 5'1" and I'm NOT having five kids!!!
