Inspiration from Bay to Breakers race

Yesterday was the 10k Bay to Breakers run in San Francisco. I saw a recap of it last night. There was a 90 year old man who ran it. He's run it every year since 1959. Very impressive and he looks amazing. I would never guess he was 90--he was very trim, fit, athletic. Another man ran it after having a heart transplant a few months ago. The guys he ran with said it was inspiring because 10 months ago, he couldn't walk across the room and they were counting the days he had left. It was a great plug for transplants and organ donation. There were the normal fun, crazy runners, a gaggle of I Dream of Jeannies, one long centipede, etc. but those two really stood out.
