Before I forget, does anyone have anything new accomplishments, anything good happen?

I'm going to do cardio (which I didn't get to yesterday because I was too busy chatting about BOSU) and lift lower body.

Hmmm... anything good happen to them... not really. :( Boy, that sounds grouchy doesn't it? Sorry guys... AF arrived this morning and I'm not feeling too spiffy.

Pretty easy day today. Only one client tonight and it's for a half hour (which bites because it's annoying to get dressed and go to the gym for a half hour client). This morning I have to go to an x-ray lab to get a fancy xray. (Long story short - I have two bridges which have perpetually fallen out since I got them so I've started the process of getting dental implants.) DH and I have our boxing lesson this afternoon. And that's pretty much it.

I'll have to update my food because I have no idea. I'm sort of dangerous food-wise when AF is here so we'll see how well I do. :)

no accomplishments, but i had a fabulous time at the show last night!! i'm still really hyped up and excited about it. it was FANTASTIC. one of those rare opportunities to see a great band in a great venue - we were standing like 10 yards from the stage with an unobstructed view at the very front of the side balcony - it doesn't get any better than that! plus, we parked right in front of the club shortly before the headliners went on and then when it was over, we just got in our car and drove away - no traffic to deal with. i refuse to go to big venues anymore - all that hassle and you can't see the band anyway, and they sound like poop. but to see a great band in a small venue like this one last night is a huge thrill.

tonight i teach hi/lo and sculpt.

food- soy cappuchino for breakfast

tofu and veggie stirfry on brown rice, smoothie for lunch

probably soup with added veggies for dinner. chocolate chips and cocoa rice cakes for dessert.

Did I miss what band you saw? I'm in total agreement... I love seeing bands in small venues. I'm going to see Melissa Ferrick next month at a small club here and I'm really looking forward to it.

Btw, just bought the new Jimmy Eat World CD and I'm about halfway through it.... I really like it.

Oh, I know Bad Religion. :) I saw them in concert many years ago... They're actually pretty popular here in Phoenix although we have a pretty decent punk music scene here so that may be why.

Melissa Ferrick does acoustic/folksy type of music. If you're familiar with Ani DeFranco, their styles are relatively similar. If you've ever heard Michelle Branch (who is also from AZ), her style is similar to Melissa's although Michelle is more pop-like.

I saw Ani live in July and it was a pretty good show. I'm not a big fan of hers as her music all sounds the same to me (my friend, who is a huge Ani fan, says all my techno music sounds the same to her... which is probably fair).

If you do check out Melissa, check out the song "Drive." It's probably my favorite. Another good comparison would be Melissa Etheridge.

Souvlaki is not bad for you since the meat is grilled. The yogurt sauce can be high in calories because normally restaurants do not use low fat or ff yogurt. Some restaurants mix in sour cream to give it some thickness. The pita normally isn't whole wheat, so that isn't great for you. Whatever you do don't eat gyros, even if they are chicken gyros they are loaded with fat and made with meat that you normally wouldn't want to eat...like with sausage or hot dogs. And that is your greek food 101 lesson for today.

Hi, Jean...let me see...I did a full hour on the elliptical today, so maybe that counts as a new accomplishment for me. I didn't do as much "mileage" as I thought I would but the incline and resistence was up. I wanted to feel my legs working. I was ready to saw my feet off afterwards, but luckily I didn't and just walked around barefoot a little while at the gym to help the circulation and soreness. Feet felt well enough to go to Target afterwards and I did get 2 new workout bras. Hope they fit...my boobs seem to be getting bigger and bigger. What is up with that?

I am determined to count my WW points today and stay with the core foods. I need to get my portions under control. So far so good and just have to get through dinner and before bedtime.

Just realized that the Smart Pop Kettle Korn is made with sucralose. I guess I will have to stop snacking on that and try popping my own pop corn in a brown paper bag in the microwave. Has to be healthier that way.

Jean...what do you do with the imitation crabmeat? I am looking for ideas.

Oh..I don't have any plans to travel abroad, but hey, you never know!

Grace
