As if you needed the reminder... I went this morning with my daughter (it's her homework) but the line was waaayyy out the door and there's no way she'll stand for a couple of hours. I'm going to go by myself later.

I'm off to work in a few. I've got 3 clients this morning and then I'll be doing an hour on the treadmill. Am feeling a bit out of sorts today because I saw my periodontist yesterday and found out that this tooth implant thing is going to be much more complicated than we originally thought. I have the afternoon off and then I've got 4 clients this evening.

Breakfast: peanut butter banana toast

Snack: trail mix

Lunch: roasted red pepper and turkey sandwiches on sprouted bread

Snack/Dinner: I'll be at work through dinner time so I haven't decided the timing of my food for the afternoon.

i voted! there was a long line out the door, but it moved fast - they were very organized at my precinct, a huge change from the primary.

i'm going to go to the gym at lunch and probably walk uphill. after work, i have yoga. then quick dinner and out to the Black Cat for an election night party!

breakfast- coffee, soy cappuchino (had to wake up early!), bagel with vegan cream cheese

lunch- probably greasy fried tofu and veggies in black bean sauce if the hot bar has it today. i need comfort food!!!

dinner- ginger tofu foccaccia sandwich (too much tofu today! but it's so yummy) with sweet potatos

dessert- beer!

late night snack- the club has a cafe in it

Schlepping the kids with me to the doctor. I really felt horrible last night. Then we go to vote, they are so excited to see mommy vote. I hope that the lines aren't too long.

Jen, I'm jealous, I want to go to a party tonight too!

I'll be doing some kind of workout tonight, maybe I'll take out a yoga tape. Ihate not getting to the gym, but it is better that I see what the doctor says first before doing myself in for a while.

I sound like such a hypochondriac whiner on her, ya'll are probably tired of listening to me whine.

Anyway I am going to attempt to eat well today even though I have no appetite.

brunch: eggs

lunch: not sure yet

dinner: salad, salmon and broccoli

Went "earlyish" to vote today in case there were long lines. There weren't but there is voting at all the elementary schools here. I am sure things will change when people get off from work. Then again we are not a "key" state, so who knows? I hope we will know right away who will be president.

I wish I stayed with my original plan to go to the 8:30 and 9:30 classes at the gym today instead of voting early. I ended up going to the gym I use the elliptical at and somehow lost the program after 20 minutes. Got disgusted and just went on the recombent bike for 20 minutes instead. Then did some uppper body with weights but didn't have my heart in it. I will do better tomorrow!

I am hoping my eating is back on track today. I went shopping and bought some fresh fruit and veggies as well as an oven stuffer which is already in the oven. I really wanted it for me and the family can have the pork chops that are defrosting with fresh cauliflower, salad and mashed potatoes.

Decaf tea with low fat soy milk

Brunch...ff yogurt, 1/2 banana, steel cut oatmeal with soy milk, decaf tea with low fat soymilk

Snack...pear

Dinner...chicken, potato, salad, cauliflower.

It's crazy here and it's not even a swing state. It took me over an hour and the whole time I'm thinking of the futility of my vote.

Just got off the phone with DinL's mom...

Luckily for DinL, her mom is down in Moyock NC and staying with them until a week from Sunday. So there is a good chance that I will be done with jury duty by the time she has to leave and then I can go and help until the Sunday before Thanksgiving. I got an update on the baby...

DinL went to the dr on Monday for a sonogram. The baby is big and over 10 lbs. Her ankles are swollen and she is so uncomfortable. DinL bp is ok and her urine checked out ok and the baby is not in distress. So, the DR is going to "do her a favor" and schedule a C-section for next Monday. If she goes into labor before, she can decide whether to have the C-section or try to deliver naturally. I think DinL is leaning towards the C-section for the safety of the baby.

I am still keeping my fingers crossed that something happens sooner than Monday. They are living on pins and needles there.

I feel like my vote doesn't really count either no matter which way I vote, since NY is already considered a Democratic state and the democrats always win here. I wonder if ignoring us will make things different this year. I don't plan to stay up but I know FoxNews will be on the TV in my bedroom tonight. It is the only channel that will say results before all the polls close.

You always eat so well, I am sure you will make up for it tonight. I don't know how I feel about molasses cookies...I don't think I ever had them. Molasses is pretty strong stuff. Hope your tummy feels better.
