Jean, should we start posting journals for you until your finger is better? :) (Thanks, undone.)

I've got a pretty easy day today. I've got two clients this morning and I'll be doing some sort of cardio but I haven't decided what it is yet. I've got a whole chunk of time this afternoon which I'm looking forward to so I can myself organized. (I'm making holiday survival kits for my clients and I'm going to start assembling them.) I also have some writing to do and if time permits, I'd like to catch "General Hospital." *grin* I've got to back tonight for two more clients. All in all, pretty easy day. No idea on food yet. Not real hungry. I had a migraine last night and I unfortunately woke up with it this morning still... :( I took some excedrine migraine and that seems to be helping. I will try to post food later...

Where's your journal?

My husband was sweet and took the day off so he could go on my daughter's field trip and I could go to BOSU class. I'm going to skip ball class, so my thumb doesn't throb as much. My husband is also taking another day off in a couple of weeks to go w/ my son on his field trip so I can do BOSU (and he took last Tues. off for the same reason--so I could do BOSU because the kids were home).

I was so sad yesterday - they cancelled my yoga class due to lack of enrollment! The only other class that fits into my schedule is a yoga and cycling class (today from 11:30 - 1), which I decided to take instead. The only negative thing about that is it's long time for me to be away from work during the day... (11:15 - 1:15) even if I make the time up. We have these busy-body secretaries that become spiteful because they aren't allowed to work flextime like I am. I usually try to avoid rocking the boat w/them but oh well! I really want to continue w/yoga. And it won't hurt to get some cardio in there too. (The class is 45 min. cycling, 45 min. yoga). I've never taken a cycling class either...

That's too bad about the class. At least you can catch another.

sorry to hear about your migraine kel, I've been there and know how miserable that they can be. Resting in a quiet dark room helps so if you get a chance after work maybe that is what you should do. The over the counter stuff doesn't cut it for me, but if excedrin works for you then good. I think the key ingredient in that stuff is caffeine which constricts vessels so you feel better.

Hi Jean....that is good that your DH went on the field trip. That is an awful lot of money for a school trip. I know that you live in a nice upper middle class area, but don't teachers realize that some families can't spend money like that on a field trip? Where is this trip to anyway, the Bahamas? :)

Well I decided to take a "day off" from the gym. I have alot of house stuff to catch up on and paperwork galore. I will be doing some video later, not sure which one but I have a good feeling it might be step. My butt is collapsing and figure some step might help. I've heard conflicting stories about step being good for the glutes. What do you professionals think? Should I do alot of lunges at home? I don't have heavy weights at home so sometimes I wonder why I should bother.

journal: breakfast: 1 cup of kashi strawberry cereal with FF milk

lunch: probably some leftover chicken legs and carrot stix

dinner: meatballs.

speaking of which I better put them in the crockpot. Violin lessons tonight so limited cooking time.

Have a wonderful day y'all.

I had an instructor joke about how everything moves south as you get older.
