You are not a wimp Jean. lacerations like that throb for a while and can be very painful...maybe not childbirth kind of painful but painful nonetheless. I did a job on my finger once cutting open a bagel so I know how you feel.

It is wicked cold here! I dread going outside because I know that my chest is going to hurt and I'll start coughing. I hope the doctor can make a diagnosis tomorrow and help me somehow.

Off to class today, it is circuit day which means we use bands and balls. I like the resistance ball but I feel like some of the routines don't work any muscles, it is just us playing on a ball. Do you ever feel that way?

Have a grand day.

no clue what I'm eating...no time for breakfast so eating some dry cereal in the car.

will journal food later. I was awful yesterday. ice cream and pizza. I went hog wild.

I have a busy day today but it's all good stuff. I have a free session this morning follwed by an hour session with a new client. I will also be getting trained by friend at work (yay! I will be training her tomorrow). DH and I have our boxing lesson this afternoon and then I'm getting a facial at work (I've never had one and the aesthetician and I are bartering - she's getting training on Friday) and then another hour session.

Food is iffy but I'll guess...

Breafkast: banana peanut butter toast

Snack: uturn bar

Lunch: protein shake

Snack/Dinner: some combination of salad, cranberry trail mix, and a burrito with beans and tofu (leftover from last night)

Our stability ball class uses weights but it's not the toning part that's important but that you're working the core.

Post-gym breakfast: 2 egg omelet with asparagus, onion, mixed bell peppers and bacon bits. THIS WAS AWESOME!!!

Vietnamese filtered iced coffee. This is also good, just not good FOR YOU!

exercise: 45 min step & abs class

Going to get my hair trimmed and coloured in a bit!

I'm not much in the mood for eating. I was sick last week and lost 5 pounds. I'm keeping food down these days but I just don't want any...

Breakfast - Fiber One

Lunch - ??? DH and I are going to go out for lunch. I think I'll load up on vegetables and probably won't have a main dish.

P.M. Snack - Soup

Dinner - I'm going to make beef fajitas but will probably only eat a salad

Performance Step tonight!

I know, this is bad. I need to eat more, but I just can't stomach it. I see my doctor tomorrow.

maybe you should sit down when you wash it off, in case you get dizzy and faint. i think it would gross me out to mess with it. i'm sorry it hurts, i don't think you are wimpy - i would think that it would really hurt anyone.

i teach hi/lo tonight, i might stay after class and take core conditioning and step if i have any energy left. i was thinking of trying out a new body sculpt class this afternoon, since it would probably be a good thing if i lifted a weight once in a while, but i don't think i will do it today. anyway, 2.25 straight hours of working out in one day is probably enough for today. but i need to start getting up earlier so i can arrange my workouts and my daily plans better. lately i've made it a habit of getting out of bed at 8 and i'm supposed to be at work at 8:30 and it takes about 30-40 minutes to get to work. not good. another reason

so performance step is officially back? that's great!

i hope you are ok and you get your appetite back soon. is there something that appeals to you to eat that you would normally not let yourself eat? sometimes when i don't feel well i'm only hungry for very specific things (usually unhealthy) - it seems like at this point it would be more important to get some calories in you than to eat as healthy as you like to.

Yes, I'm fine now. My stomach is no longer upset but I just don't feel like eating. I don't have a sick feeling, it's more like being too tired to chew anything. I just want to go home and sleep. Eating takes too much energy.

No, performance step is not on the schedule this month. We're having it tonight because our instructor is subbing for someone else and is going to teach performance step. It doesn't look like it's ever coming back. Right now, we have it 2 Saturdays a month. They're talking about having it in December only but not in January. If my instructor moves to a new gym, I think I would transfer my membership. Her class is that good...

(We have this whole underground e-mailing system in place that keeps us informed about the latest development. Things are not looking good for getting our class back on the schedule regularly.)
