Happy Friday.

I'm off to Jazz with my almost mentor....Nervous about the weekend because I'm going to go see the certifier on Sat. I'm skipping my weigh in at WW this week because I'm sure that I didn't reach goal, if anything I probably gained and I know that seeing that on paper might put me in a "funk".

I don't have any fun scheduled for the weekend except for a Bat Mitsvah. Maybe I"ll get to the mound of paperwork on and under my desk. I"ll have to put in some kind of workout at home on Sunday, I don't know why that is always so hard for me to do. It seems like if I'm not at the gym I can't be active..or don't want to be....

Doctor won't put me on prescriptive meds for my allergies, he told me to take OTC stuff for now and lets see what happens. I left the office a little annoyed, I really have chest pains when I'm outside and a hard time breathing. I hope allergy season is over soon.

As far as food goes I'm going to have to get serious. I had two giant chocolate chocolate chip muffins yesterday. I wish DH wouldn't buy this stuff at Costco.

breakfast: whole grain light english muffin with light cream cheese

lunch: can of tuna with some balsamic vinegar

dinner: boy scout pot luck dinner, hopefully there will be some good choices there. Maybe I'll eat oatmeal before we go so I'm kinda full.

water water water...I am definitely dehydrated.

have a great friday everyone.

Hey undone... I have really bad allergies too and aside from taking claritin, I also use peppermint oil. I dab a little bit under my chin and really seems to open me up quite a bit. You might give that a try.

After running the rat race for the past two days, I have a slower day today which is nice. I have a conference call for work this morning and then I have to take my car in for a paint sealant treatment and and oil change. DH is going to follow me there and we're going to do lunch and xmas shopping since they are holding my car hostage for 3 hours. I'm going to do cardio this afternoon and then train two people.

No idea on food yet.

I don't know how this would work in your area, but I have read that if you eat locally grown produce, it'll help your body get used to the pollen in the area.

DH and I actually do this. We put a little honey in our green tea every morning. It seems like it helps... at least a little. :)

Breakfast: veggie omelet, glass of V8

Lunch: I'm thinking shrimp ring. Better defrost it.

Dinner: ???

Exercise: I thought I had to work my horrid waitressing job today that I gave notice for last week, but they called yesterday and said they didn't need me, just come pick up my last pay. SOOOOO, I am free to go to this step class that I've been dying to go to. It's taught by this really great instructor. She taught a 75 minute step class about 2 years ago, and went on hiatus since then. She had a baby a few months ago and looks as good as ever now. I always enjoyed her routine, very good cueing, easy to follow, but creative. Hope I can pick up some new combo ideas from her. ;)

Yesterday I went to the doctor looking for a referral to physiotherapy. I have wrist tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, and of course the great sprained ankle (which is getting better slowly but surely) He said, "yeah you're falling apart go get yourself to physio."

So that's my day!

Still having trouble eating. I think it may have something to do with how large the numbers on the scale are. I just threw a bunch of stuff in my bag today and will make snacks or meals out of whatever's in there.

Fiber One

Fajitas

Carrots

PB&J sandwich

And I think I'll have a salad for dinner tonight.

Blah.

I'm planning on getting on the elliptical crosstrainer this evening, but we're having a rainy kind of day that's perfect for sleeping.

my two cents: you have to feed the baby now - she's trying to develop and grow a lot right now and needs nutrients and calories - and you can worry about the extra weight after you give birth. i have no doubt it'll come off quickly for you.

i'm going to try a yoga class at the gym this afternoon and that's it for me today - tonight i have to clean up a bit because my dad is coming to visit tomorrow.

i hope this class is better than the one i tried last night at the Y - i won't go into all the reasons it stunk, but let's just say my yoga snob fears were more than confirmed and i won't be going back...

food - coffee so far

maybe some chinese tofu dish on rice for lunch

dinner- brussel sprouts and kale w/ ww pasta, olive oil, garlic, maybe some meatless meatballs if we have any.

I agree w/ Jen about making sure you eat well and not worrying about the weight.

Wow, what an interesting theory. There isn't too much being locally grown around here this time of year though, except maybe potatoes!

I thought fall allergies were because of moldy leaves, not pollen but it could be a combination of everything.

My big fear is getting really sick again, because the allergies bring on bronchial infections. There is no way I could prepare for certification if I get sick like I was last year!

The doctor recommended Dimetapp Elixer for the coughing and claritin D for the sinuses.
