Eeew, that will make you sick to your stomach when you figure out you did something like that, won't you.... I don't use one with a straw.. makes me wonder about the cups for my ds with straws.
i think water bottles with straws are gross for that very reason and never use them. i suppose i would use a camelbak if the occasion arose but i'd soak it in bleach or something to clean it. there must be a way to clean those thing, or else people wouldn't be so ga-ga over camelbaks.
WHY can't I get that straight!?!?! You know, I consciously thought about it and could picture the word "Neoprene" written on the bottle as I typed. If I find someone who likes the Camelbak, I'll pass it on.
I've gotten sick from not cleaning my Nalgene out with hot water and soap. I woke up in the morning after using it dirty the night before I guess, and puke my guts out. Seriously thought I was preggo that day! ugggh.
I've read that and I'm thinking it's something put out by the water companies. I mean, why is the water that you refill more likely to pick up toxins than their water?

yeah, but the nalgene is at least easy to clean out if you take two minutes to do it.
if you want to be like those dirty hippies with their camelbaks and not clean your nalgene, then yeah, i imagine you would get sick :)
