After going to a fitness conference, one of the instructors is now doing a fusion class, bringing yoga, pilates, strength training, kickboxing, dance all together. It is a tough class, and I love it. Just wondered if anyone else is doing it. This is all the presenters talked about at the conference.

They are actually alot of fun, not alot of choreography, believe it or not. I have been going to the gym for 2 years, and that class makes me so sore! Apparently, it is supposed to be the latest thing.

You may warm up by doing floor aerobics, then move in to a little punching and kicking and from there go into pilates, into body sculpting, really neat.

I've been teaching a variety of fusion classes for as long as I can remember. I don't like doing anything too fancy or complicated, so to keep things interesting, for myself & my participants, I like to introduce new and different things. I'm REALLY big on functional fitness & cross training and this is good way to work on those.

i'm glad you enjoy them, but like i said, i'd hate it for so many reasons. first of all i'm a yoga snob and there is no way to teach real yoga in that format. moreover, yoga isn't

Geez, you definately have your reasons. I take lots of classes with lots of choreography, but I also like this class, because it is fun. I understand, though.

I watch those people and think, I'm so the total opposite.
