How are you all doing today?

Today the weather is totally miserable and rainy here. 16 more days till BF and I go to Cuba though! This morning I taught a 45 min step & abs class and I'm leaving in a few minutes to teach an hour step & sculpt class at the other gym. Last night BF watched Supersize Me and it scared the crap out of him, I am so glad, he could be a lot healthier. He asked me to personal train him when we're in Cuba! I'm more than happy to oblige.

Pre gym breakfast: 1 slice of whole grain toast with butter & Marmite, 1 babybel cheese

2nd breakfast: 2 egg veggie omelet, giant coffee with cream & sugar, about 10 Triscuit Thin Crisps

Lunch: probably Swiss Chalet (bbq chicken breast & grilled veggies, maybe a salad)

Dinner: probably leftover pork chops from last night, a small spoonful of brown rice, some sort of veggie.

It's cold here! Our high today is only going to be 61. I froze my tootsies running out to get the paper this morning. I have a leisurely morning, which is nice. I'm going to do my online stuff and also take care of a few client issues. I'm meeting a friend for lunch and I'm back home for my boxing lesson. I have three appointments this afternoon.

Breakfast: peanut butter and jelly

Lunch: ??

Snack/Dinner: leftover mac and cheese, hummus and celery, chocolate milk

Supersize Me scared the crap out of my boyfriend too and got him back in the gym and cleaning up his diet - it's useful as a recalcitrant boyfriend motivator!


how groovy that you are heading out on vacation soon! how are you guys getting to go to Cuba? do you have family there or are you flying through some other country? i wish i was going somewhere warm and beachy!

The weather is miserable here too today, Jean. I am dreading going to the store to get fresh fruit and veggies, but I just have to do it. Hoping the weather gets better before I have to go out and teach tonight.

I am going to sub a ball class and an aerobic dance class tonight. I don't know how it is going to fly since I never taught ball or even took a class and I don't do dancy aerobics. I will announce I am only subbing and the regular instructor will be back next week so if they are not liking or used to what I am doing, it is only for one week. Any quick ideas for the ball, Jean? I heard you have to lower your weights when you use the stability ball and I just hope I don't fall off the darn thing.

I am very sore today after taking two good classes yesterday. I am feeling muscles I haven't felt in years. That is what I get for not doing anything while away.

Good choices planned for food today. I did find Dr Perricones book...I was looking in the wrong bag for it. It was with the food I brought with me. Go figure it would be with the food. I have a lot of reading to do before I really go completely on the plan as well as plan menus and meals ahead of time and get the supplies in the house. It is going to be expensive.

Exercise is planned also as well as some practicing before I go sub. Luckily I was able to get some ideas off FitTV today for both classes.

Try to stay dry today and don't blow away.

Oh, Undone...I am so sorry you are getting even more symptoms. (I emailed you before I read your post.) I wonder what the swelling is from and why you are in so much pain. Do you think you got a reaction to the scripts you got? HUGS!

Good idea to have DS stay in after care so you can get some extra rest. I feel the same way about exercising to relieve stress and there many days I knew I needed to but couldn't because of my darn feet. Just don't stress over that now. Try to take advantage of the extra time by yourself today.

well i didn't make it to the gym this afternoon so now i have two workouts this week to make up later in the week. after work i'm going to lift at home before i have to take the dog to the vet. that'll make up for not going yesterday. then i'll do some cardio after work tomorrow to make up for not doing it today. then i'll be back on track.

i bought saltine-type crackers for T because he is sick and everytime i see them i crave them - more proof that white flour is Jen-crack. normally, i wouldn't even bother with saltine-crackers, they certainly don't taste that good. but now that i'm deprived of my drug, ANYTHING with white flour starts to cause withdrawal pangs.
