Are you all more motivated now that you were a month ago? I'm kind of the same.

it's funny how we are often all in the same gym rat "mood" here - like women who live together and end up with their periods aligned! it seems to happen a lot that we all happen to feel more motivated or less motivated at the same times.

i can't read on the elliptical unless i want a very easy workout, but other than that i don't find it too hard to keep my speed pretty constant. maybe if you watch tv or listen to music instead of read?

today i'm going to spin at 12:30 (you can always tell when i'm feeling more motivated, because i get back into spin!). tonight i'm going to do cardio at home (making up for yesterday) - maybe DDR

food-

clementines, hopefully coffee

hopefully big salad and fruit salad (can only eat this if i get to the restaurant early enough)

almond butter snacker

more clementines

curry supreme with brown rice

My doctor says I'm not eating enough and she's really not happy that I have lost weight instead of gaining .5 - 1 pound per week. I haven't had much of an appetite but she wants me to eat anyway. I'm really struggling with this.

Breakfast - Raisin Bran, 1 hard-boiled egg

A.M. Snack - Grapefruit, Carrot & Celery Juice

Lunch - Potato Salad, rice, veggies

P.M. Snack - Orange

Dinner - Steamed crab legs, salad

Drinking lots of water.

I think I'll do Body Pump this evening...

i'm sorry you are having a hard time with it. is there ANYTHING you are hungry for, even if it is something you wouldn't normally eat? pizza? ice cream? i would think at this point the most important thing is to get calories in you, even if they aren't the most nutritious calories.

What if you eat high glycemic value foods so you'll get hungry more quickly?

I guess I'm so used to ignoring cravings for junk that I can't even tune in to what my body wants to eat. It's weird. I spent years learning to control my eating choices and now I'm struggling to eat, even when I need to. Like now, it's 2:40 and I still haven't eaten lunch. I know I need to, but the thought of putting food in my mouth makes me nauseous. I'm going to eat at 3 no matter what. I can tolerate some foods more than others. For instance, I can eat fruit and rice, but I can't eat animal products as easily. I have rice and veggies in the refrigerator and I'm going to try and get that down in a few minutes.
