I know I should slow down, but if I don't prepare the food, I won't get my veggies in. DH will order pizza and my mother will make soups/sandwiches and salads all day. She doesn't have the patience to cut tons of veggies.

Oops, sorry. I meant chambering, as in chambering for a roundhouse kick. I stay in a fighting stance and chamber up quickly. I'm trying to improve my speed, plus these work the lower abdominals. I'm sure the people who saw me doing them thought I was crazy, which I may be :)

I'm impressed! I think taking care of yourself should come first, and if that means eating healthy, then do it. I wish I could, but I don't have the time. My dh is the same way, he will just order pizza everytime.

Congrats, relax, and enjoy the little one.

Do you go into a squat before you turn and kick?

No no. From a fighting stance, I just bring my back knee up across my hips, then set it down. I just leave out the leg extention part of the kick. I don't even turn my back foot out.

NO ONE, no matter what her age, should wear low rise jeans unless she looks good in them. big love handles overflowing waistbands don't look any better on 14 year olds than they do on 34 year olds.
