Last night I ate some Oriental Mix (Japanese rice crackers) definitely not happy about that! I can totally feel the bloat even though I just ate a couple handfuls!

This morning I am teaching step (sub) and then I am putting in my resume at a gym in the next town, I saw in the paper that they're hiring instructors. This afternoon, I am going to rid my bedroom walls of hockey posters. My boyfriend says he gets intimidated doing STUFF in my room and having hockey boys looming on all the walls. I concede the point, so out go the posters.

Breakfast: bagel, cream cheese, spinach, smoked salmon
Lunch: homemade cream of mushroom soup, fat free chicken & alpine lace roll up
Snack: celery & grape tomatoes
Dinner: homemade lotus root soup

Oh yeah, in boot camp yesterday, the 3 sculpting stations she had were: reverse lunges, "penguin walk" with the band, and squats with the ball. MY BUTT IS ON FIRE!!!!!!!!! AGGGGGH!!!!!!!!

What do you want to teach at the other gym?

You probably get enough unsolicited advice so feel free to ignore this but, as a beginner, it's a good idea to stay with one riser until you know step well.

I like your theory about buying new pants in your right size, Jean. It must be nice to buy small 6's now. I can't wait to fit into my 4's again. Sigh...someday in this lifetime.

I am pretty darn happy with the amount of exercise I did this week. I have worked out 5 days in a row and I will try to get in one day this weekend. I have to say, my legs were very fatigued doing step today when I met Undone at the gym. She said her legs were a little shaky too after yesterday...;-). I was not only fatigued, I didn't have good balance and my feet were acting up.

Now, my eating is another story. Hopefully, I will do better next week with signing up for the National Body Challenge. One thing at a time...first the exercise then the eating.

Hope you all have a good weekend.

You've taught so many classes this week and taken so many, too!

The gym that we go to uses the body shaping steps that are 4 inches. You either use one or two of them so one is really too low. I do bring in my own 2" riser so I can work on 6". Undone has really long legs so 6" would be perfect for her but 4" is way too low. I really wish they had the Reebok steps so you can get a perfect fit for your height there.

You are right though...beginners should not go past one riser.

Oh yeah--my secret to wearing a size 4 is to buy Gap or Eddie Bauer which run REALLY big. That's not the reason I buy them. I like the fit but they happen to run big.

Thanks for clarifying. I was thinking you were there so you'd give feedback.
