Quick journal today... Did a pilates class this morning and then having boxing this afternoon. I haven't been around because our cable modem got fried in a storm that we had the other night. They aren't sending anyone to fix it until Tuesday so we have to dial up until then. Ughghghg. So spoiled with our cable connection. :)

Hope you all are well and I will return to regular posting next week.

I just got back from the other gym and it looks like they have hired some instructors already, but not a full schedule. The gym is brand new, not even done construction yet! There were some classes on the description that weren't yet on the schedule..I would love to teach boot camp, that was the one thing I saw that jumped out at me.

It would be great to start from a ground up gym!

Today is my busiest day! I work during the day (I watch a little boy) and then work the health club at night. Needless to say, this is my day off from working out. My past week was a roller coaster ride as far as eating habits. I started off good, but went bad and now I'm back to being good. Next week I plan on getting better!

Breakfast: Cottage cheese, pineapples, sprinkle of cashews

Lunch: Turkeyburger, chickpeas mashed with plain yogurt (sounds gross, but it was surprisingly good), applesauce & grapes.

Snack: Probably some turkey pepperoni & cheese

Dinner: An omelet consisting of egg whites, portobello mushrooms & some tofu and an apple.

Have a great rest of the day!

How do you make the chickpeas and yogurt?

I'm pretty happy with my food selections this week. I have had a few pieces of candy here and there and one cupcake, but nothing really horrible. I'm having trouble finding clothes that fit. My maternity clothes are way too big, but my regular clothes are still too small in the hips. Good thing I have a few pair of pants with elastic bands. I'm going to be wearing those until I can fit my old clothes. My shoes are too small... I think I remember reading something about some women's feet growing PERMANENTLY during pregnancy. They seem like they're 1/2 size larger.

Breakfast - didn't have time

Lunch - Chicken and veggies, cranberry sauce, Diet Coke

Dinner - Stir fry

Snack - oranges

I may make a juice.

No exercise... again.

happy friday!! because of my cat crisis, i'm behind on my exercise schedule for the week. but i'll catch up over the weekend. my food was ok, not complaining but not bragging either.

i had a special treat today! for those of you who have been around awhile (millcreek and jean) you may remember that i used to belong to the gym in my office building, which was run by a great guy who was also a great step instructor. when i was learning to teach, he gave me a lot of good advice and helped me out. he moved out of town about a year and a half ago, and i was quite sad about it. i eventually stopped going to that gym. well, he was in town this week and taught an hour long step class down in the gym at lunch today! i happen to still get emails from the gym so that's how i knew about it. the current director let me come even though i don't belong to that gym anymore. it was a fun class, but he moved much slower teaching us the choreography than he used to. i understand why he did it, but i wish he did less building up and more just going through the choreography. but anyway, it was really great to
