That sucks. I hate when things don't go as planned. I bet they might give you your money back if you explain your frustration.

I did bootcamp and shoulders this morning. Next Saturday I have to start teaching on Saturdays after my workout and ds's gymnastics class (mommy and me, which is really mommy and sister and me--I get double the workout). I am going to be soooo wiped out.

Just watched a special on Electra: Assasin. I can't wait. I always thought that Jennifer Garner was too skinny, but in these previews she looks good, like she has put on some muscle mass. I think if I were going to be in a movie I would want either a role like Electra or I would want to be one of Charlie's Angels. I think more personality is more Angel like, but Electra is such a cool bad a$$.

I work at a health club and we would re-schedule another appointment. If the member didn't want to do that, we'd do everything to make our members satisfied & refund the money. I'd try to reschedule - it'd be worth it!

My journal for the weekend. This morning I spent 20 mins on the eliptical and 20 mins on the stationary bike. Then did some sit ups - ugh!

I had my usual fruit & cottage cheese for breakfast. For lunch I had tuna with yogurt & chickpeas, applesauce, & portabello mushrooms. Dinner I'm going out with some of my siblings and we plan on going to a mexican restaurant. All my good eating the past couple of days will go out the window - lol!

Tomorrow I plan on doing my first body pump class in a long time! Then soak in the hot tub to relax those muscles!

Have a great weekend!

If I may ask, what is the format of your bootcamp class? the one at my gym isn't really military...except that the instructor calls us soldiers, makes us do pushups when we screw up and call her Sir. Yes, you read that right :P

The format is 15 min step warmup, 3 weight stations, another 5 min of step, go around the stations again, then abs.

Ours is the furthest thing from military. I don't know why they call it boot camp, it is more of kickboxing mixed with sports conditioning. We do a lot of plyometrics, boxing and kicking.

I've had a lot of classes called "boot camp" and they were all different. None was like I'd picture the real military one to look like.

she's always been muscular (at least on Alias) and i haven't noticed her being more muscular lately... she's definitely small, but if you see her in slinky clothes, she's all muscle. her abs are amazing, and you can tell it's not just because she has low body fat (which she certainly does), but because she has a LOT of muscle. can you imagine how hard it must to get that muscular when you are naturally such a small person? she must lift like crazy. she has the ideal body i would want.

good morning. i'm up verrrrrry early for me on a sunday. actually for any day - i don't even get up this early to go to work.

i'm subbing step at 8-9. i'm going to do a core workout later at home. i've had a fun weekend, but not great in the fitness department. i didn't catch up on the exercise i was behind on from earlier in the week and i've been eating out all weekend - a lot of yummy but fattening stuff. so today i'm going to do a fruit "detox" like i was talking about last week. i might eat some green veggies later in the day, but mostly i'm going to stick to fruit and tea.

next week for SURE i have to get back to the pool for a swim AND get out on the treadmill/pavement for a run. i need to get those activities back into my routine.

tonight is the season premiere of 24 - very excited!!
