Rain?! It's sunny & a balmy -41 up here.

Mmmm... everyone's talking chickpeas. Funny 'cause I just pulled out a bag of dried ones to soak for making hummus, then realized I don't have any tahini. Oh well, I got a pkg. of mix that supposed to be awesome, so I'll make that instead.

Day off, sort of. I've got paperwork & housework I should be doing, but I've been surfing for recipes. (Everyone should check out the Whole Foods site I found. I've posted a link in the recipe section.) Should also do some shovelling, but at the current temperature/windchill frostbite is supposed occur in less than 3 min.

Breakfast: multigrain bagel w/ PB; hot lemon water

Lunch: bruschetta on whole wheat toast; soy chai latte

Supper: most likely veg. gyoza; cantonese stir fried rice/veg.; soda water w/ a squeeze of lime; possibly a pear poached in spiced red wine for dessert

Snacks: green tea; ww pita w/ hummus; might make some banana bread; fresh fruit; bakery granola bars

There was a recipe for roasted chick peas in Jan.'s Shape. Let me know if they are good!

It's bone chilling cold here in the midwest. It might make it to 15 degrees today, maybe 9 degrees tomorrow (those are F temps, not C)!

Today is my work day - I babysit in the day and got to my gym-job at night - with an hour break inbetween (if I'm lucky!)

Breakfast: Cottage cheese & applesauce

Lunch: Turkey burger, salad with chickpeas, snap peas and olives

Snack: Cheese & fruit

Dinner: Left over salmon, cheese, and fruit.

Oh, that looks hard. I checked to see if there was any in my area just for the fun of it, and I found one in the next city over, I was suprised.

Thanks for sending the website
