Snowy day here. Went to the gym for step class at 6:30am, I want to go see my boyfriend but it is snowing so I don't know if I can. If I don't go, I'll get stir crazy.

Breakfast: Banana, babybel cheese
2nd breakfast: veggie omelet

The rest of the day I have no clue right now.

We do have nice people on this board--but I do think there are nice people on all boards.

Breakfast: Egg beaters, tomatoes, fat free cheese, coffee
Snack: cup cereal
Lunch: Chicken Sausage and Brocolli
Snack: Pear (maybe powerbar if i go to gym)
Dinner: Chicken sausage again w/ brown rice

Work out: I want to do aerobics class and abs but my doctor told me not too, because of my back. He said give it a few more days. But I am feeling much better, so I will sit here all afternoon and look at my gym bag and think about if I am going to go or not. I really want to go, but the doctors voice will keep ringing in the back of my head. If I could see in the future I would be able to decide I am fine now, but it is the not being able to stand up tomorrow morning that scares me...decisions...decisions.

Well...hello Early Bird...a 6:30 am class...wow! I was just debating on whether to get up or not at that time...I decided to stay under the covers longer when I heard it was going to snow.

I took a 9:30 All Fit class today. I was disappointed that there was a sub, even though I know her ( her DH is my chiropractor ) and she did a good job. I just get a better workout with the regular instructor. I don't know why though. I was thinking of going to Bally's and taking another class tonight, but I will have to see what the weather is up to.

Went to TJ Maxx and the grocery store after that. Had to rush home then, since I hadn't eaten anything and I was really getting hungry. Luckily I held out until I got home, but I proved that you should never go grocery shopping hungry.

Made a shrimp, egg substitute veggie cheese omelet for brunch and had a slice of whole wheat toast with cup of decaf tea with soy milk. Finished someone's leftover soggy salad...it sure did taste good and probably had full fat dressing on it. I really must have been overly hungry to think wilted salad tastes good. We now have ff milk in the house so I can have that instead of the soy.

Snacks...clementines, apple

Dinner...not sure. Planning on cat fish but I don't know how I am making it or what I am going to have with it.

Got a call to sub 3 classes next Wed morning (at LR, Undone) and I said yes. I will be teaching 3 days in a row so far next week. I don't think I am going to get much use out of Bally's free pass at this rate.

Hope everyone's day goes well and you reach your daily goal.

I don't see how eating off plan once a week would make you gain weight...especially since you are still averaging below your expenditure and you do need 3500 extra calories to gain a lb. To me it seems unfair that it works that way. I think we messed our systems up by not eating enough calories all along with the "dieting".

Have fun at DD's school.

I'm so jealous, I wish my gym offered aerobics at 630am. They only offer spin.

I did step and legs this morning. Somebody at the gym asked me if I was a body builder. I thought that was odd, but I needed a compliment like that after all the weight I have put on the last couple of months. No tkd tonight, I have school.

Food:
maple pecan crunch
banana, peanutbutter crackers
tortellini, grapes
clementines
chicken parmesan

If it isn't a full two weeks since you back injury, please don't exercise no matter how good you feel. You don't want to have a setback. If you do, you know what the doctor is going to say. So...give all the time it needs to heal properly so you won't have a set back and can get back to your regular workout schedule. Good luck!!

Oh, darn, I forgot to put tomatoes into my egg substitute omelet...it would have been yummy with the shrimp.

I don't eat off the plan once a week as much as I will eat junk food if I really want it.

I'm terrible at listening to doctor's advice but with a back, it's probably a smart thing to wait.

Jean,
