i don't hate illegal moves on step!! i love illegal moves on step - reverse turn is my favorite step move. actually i use it now, consequences be damned! (though i do tell the class it's illegal and give them an alternate move if they don't want to do the reverse turn.) i probably would have liked the class.
1) What's the most fun you've had in the gym this week? Sadly, the gym hasn't been too fun this week. I just switched to the Y, and it's colder than a witch's you-know-what outside, so it is packed and stinky. I miss my non-crowded, clean gym. Yoga at a different gym was probably the most fun.
2) What's the most fun you've had out of the gym this week? Watching the Bachelorette and eating lean pork tenderloin and sweet potatoes with my fiancé on Monday.
3) What's the best junk food you've had this week? Twizzlers
4) What's the tastiest healthy food you've had this week? My s'mores Balance Bar or Kashi Cinna Raisin Crunch
5) What's the newest thing you've tried at the gym? SHAPE SHOPPE last night... a toning class at my Y. I thought it would be like Body Pump, but not at all. It was more appropriate for those just starting to work out. I question the effectiveness of a lot of the junk we did, and I almost walked out when we started warming up with a grapevine and the instructor yelled, "hop scotch it out!" And then did this crazy foot touching thing. WHAT?! No instruction on form for any of the exercises, and when I looked around the room, bad form was everywhere.

Yesterday at my Body Step class. I love this instructor and she gave us a great work-out.

I took 3 kids to the mall on Monday. The weather was about 5 degrees, but I think it kept a lot of people away. I thought with it being a holiday that it would be super crowded, but it wasn't. We all had a great time!
3) What's the best junk food you've had this week?
Pizza last night at work. One of my co-workers talked me into getting a pizza last night (and I was being so good). With AF visiting me, it was an easy sell!
4) What's the tastiest healthy food you've had this week?
Blueberries, applesauce, cottage cheese & cashews for breakfast on Monday. Not only was it healthy, but it kept me satisfied until lunch.
5) What's the newest thing you've tried at the gym?
I tried our gym's new bikes. They were nice! But I haven't done anything really new (for me) lately.
LOL-- that's funny about the dummy on the instructor's arm. :) And I didn't intend a sexual connotation to the thing about eating pork and potatoes but it does sound a little questionable. :) It was a eating treat for us and fiance enjoyed the meat and taters meal so much it was "fun"!
